In other news, the Arizona Cardinals have begun contract talks with QB Carson Palmer. Great move, it will lower his cap hit in 2015 which is scheduled to be $12M. Plus that means they can wait til the 2016 NFL Draft to find a young QB who would eventually replace him and can use the 2015 off-season to continue building the team.

See some people whining about the ref moving the Pats player out from in front of the long-snapper, saving them a penalty. They're saying it was unfair but that's totally commonplace and actually a VERY good job of officiating.

 

The Jets have seen this before. It was either on Hard Knocks or SoundFX but a ref moved DT Kris Jenkins away from the LS pre-snap so he wouldn't get called for it.
