Raven's RB's from a fantasy perspective

3 posts in this topic

In two of my five leagues, I have at least two of the three Ravens Rb's (one is a 16 team league). At this point, it seems that Taliaferro is the odd man out fantasy wise since he's barely touched the ball after those two weeks where Pierce was out and he racked up the points.

In the league that I want to win the most, I have both Pierce and Forsett. Pierce has sat on my bench the entire year. Forsett, on the other hand, is a top 10 fantasy running back right now.

However, every week I am hesitant to start Forsett, as I feel like on any given week his numbers can go way down, especially now that Pierce is really cutting into his carries again (He had a TD and one more carry than Forsett this past week, though way less yards). It seems like a lot of people are with me on this hesitation, as Forsett was only started in 41% of leagues despite coming in as the no. 8 RB.

I guess my main question is, is Forsett a reliable fantasy flex option going forward? Is his receiving ability (even though he had 0 catches this past week) enough to keep him a top end RB?

Additionally, will Pierce ever amount to anything fantasy wise this year?

Forsett will start to pull away with the touches this year no doubt. The problem comes near the end zone as that is where pierce and talieffero will get more carries so forsett will have to score long-distance.
