Who is better Flacco or Ryan?

It's clearly Joe imo but I guess we'll see.

I like this game being at home. If the Ravens can get after Ryan early and the offense starts fast it'll be another impressive win imo. But I definitely expect a tough game.

Should be another good week for our pass rush and wrs. Should also have a productive day from Forsett. Just need to take advantage of early opportunities which we will have.

Every game is different, but Atlanta is not far ahead of Tampa Bay in terms of PPG allowed.  They've given up 71 points the last 2 weeks.

This would be the game for both quarterbacks to get a shot at the passing touchdown record. This will definitely be a shootout.

And now that I've said that, it'll be a defensive battle

Likely not, unless it's on a very limited basis

I think he'll get some limited action. You want to start getting him game action as soon as possible. I can see 5-10 snaps.

Jimmy vs Julio will be awesome to watch. With us being at home we have the edge.

please allow him to shadow him. We've allowed Jimmy to shadow a lot more this season then others but I haven't seen him just cover one WR all game. I'd put him on Julio and basically make Ryan go elsewhere with the ball.

Yes I think Jimmy could shut down Julio.

I don't see why not, given he arguably won his matchup with Megatron. Shut him down, flood the backfield and hope you have the Ravens defence in fantasy.

The Atlanta OL is weak. Carimi at RT and Konz at center? Ehhh.... We should definitely blitz more this week, and with it being at home, I think there's a huge advantage in our favor. If you blitz you can really get to Ryan. Jimmy just be on Julio. Nobody else. I'd rather a broken Webb and Mosley shadow White. Jones must have Jimmy on him all day.

I think we're going to need quality play from the safeties this game. I'm hoping Brooks plays back there and possibly a little bit of Hill if he's ready.

I like our OL against their DL. Worrilow is a pretty decent ILB so he's one to watch. I think this is an ideal game for our TE and to use the middle of the field. Their secondary is pretty good so comparatively speaking so we'll need to watch that.

I really really like this matchup for this Ravens team at home. I think the Falcons lose this one.

Konz, I remember when that was a hot name around these parts. I agree with you here, plenty of blitz and Bradon Williams dominating inside. Harbs said Jimmy Smith will make history in this league and I think it's time for the Ravens to finally allow him to do so. Jimmy Smith is a top CB in the NFL and it's time for the coaches to build the defensive scheme around him, CJ, Mcphee and BW imo. I think our defense is much better if you allow Jimmy to shadow, and roll coverage to the opposite side of the field to help Webb and Franks.

Brooks is getting more and more action on the back end and he's getting more and more comfortable. He kind of got caught in between the big hit or big play on the deep ball to VJax and it caused him but overall he played well. Especially whenever the defense was aggressive. If you allow Jimmy to shadow and Brooks over the top, I like our chances of limiting big plays.

I'm not sure what he is or isn't doing in practice, but I'd like to see Art Brown see action in sub packages. Huge fan of D. Smith, but he's just not getting it done in pass coverage this year like he did last year. The speed and instincts of Brown might limit some of those plays just behind the LB position to the TEs.

Both Camp and Aiken did a really good job with their opportunities against the Bucs and I'd like Kubes to continue to reward them. Camp was open on a couple of option routes but the ball went else where. I think if Kubes continues to get everyone involved in the offense it'll be tough for any defense to stop the Ravens and I honestly don't see the Falcons as a tough defense.

Should be a great game and I expect a Ravens win at home

I'm honestly trying to see a way this ISN'T a blowout win.... Falcons play poorly on the road. Their offensive line is very bad. If this defense was able to hold luck down I see no reason they won't hold Ryan down. Ryan is not too mobile and they don't really have a good tight end threat or consistent running game. They will break a few big plays sporadically. That's it.

Offensively should be a monster game for Steve smith and Daniels. As well as forsett. The falcons D is so soft in the middle of the field. Bottom 3 for sure.

Ravens 38 - falcons 17

I think that game will be dictated on stopping the run and eliminating the big play.  I just saw a 4th quarter score by Forte so that play will be in our film room this week. .

Roddy White is still a huge threat and Devin Hester is showing he's going to be dangerous out of the slot. I don't think I'd force Jimmy to shadow just because of how potent the other weapons are. It's not like playing a team like the Panthers where Benjamin is their only real threat at WR.

I like our opportunities for unheralded players like Camp and Aiken. I hope Kub has a couple of tricks with Jus involved.

I live in ATL and I have a very serious dislike for the Falcons and their Fans. I really need this win. Can't wait to see Flacco put on a show for the home crowd against a defense WORSE than the Bucs.

I'd still take my chances with those others matchups. Neither Hester nor White are gonna singlehandedly beat you like JJ has the potential to. Roddy White doesn't play nearly as well on the road as he does at home, so I'd definitely take my chances of having Franks or Webb covering him with safety help over the top.

If you can eliminate a teams #1 you take your best shot imo.

A popular philosophy that some teams employ is to actually have the best corner shadow the second best receiver and then use the second best corner on the best receiver, but put safety help over the top. Honestly, Jimmy is going to need help with Julio Jones. Jones is just too explosive. I'd rather him shutdown White and put the safety help overtop of Julio than have to use a two high for most of the game.
