Official Vent uh talk about the game vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers !

There's not really much to vent about - actually the thing I enjoyed the most was that Crockett Gilmore and Michael Campanaro had their first career receptions, and Kamar Aiken has been very active the last few weeks.  I'm a full believer in getting your young players to play as much as possible, and I hope the trend continues because it will make them better players when we go for our playoff push in the winter.

Not only that, but it makes them better players next year and the year after.

Oh, I know that HC. I have no problem doing it whatsoever and neither do I have a problem with coming in here to give props to where it is due. The Ravens offense was on fire! Now, I want to see that type of performance on a consistent basis.

@Mili

We're nearly halfway through the season and top five in offense. Consistency has been fine.

Well, its not really that consistent. It wasn't consistent in the Bengals game, nor was it consistent in the Colts game (perhaps not coincidentally the two games we lost).

I mean watching our offense vs the Colts it was like a completely different team showed up vs TB.

Without taking away a lot of the credit from us, for a large majority of the Bucs game, I couldn't for the life of me figure out even remotely what the Bucs were attempting to do on defense. It looked like they were giving 20 yard cushions consistently and just waiting for us to run out of bounds instead of tackling.

When fans should really get excited is when you have a solid offensive performance against a GOOD team (and in particular a good defense) on the road. Why? Because its probably going to be a requirement for this team to do that to win in the playoffs.

The good news is... in less than 2 weeks, we will get to see precisely the kind of game I want to see.

Maybe they brought up the Denver game last year because Denver blew out the defending SB champion team, duh...

When you look at national media, you have to take into account what people give a crap about. Would you give a crap if the Saints blew out the Rams or something like that? I wouldn't! Nobody gives a crap when good teams blow out bad teams. They do care when good teams blow out or beat good teams. It's really quite simple.

Wanna see Ravens highlights? Go watch WBAL or WJZ. ESPN doesn't exist to serve Baltimore fans.

But they do to serve Broncos, Pats & Cowboy fans? I mean, let's be honest, Brady blew out the Bills & he got more accolades.

It's fine really, doesn't matter. When we have a year like 2012 it exposes them for the idiots they are - but just saying that yes, there is bias.

Hey, anyone hear anything on Aiken? I remember he left the field with the doctor. Anyone know if he's OK? I don't remember hearing anything about him.

Concussion, but they said he's fine and will be cleared to play this weekend.

Finally saw the full play for camp's TD..

Wow that was a strong grab.. Wow

Looked Patriots offense-esque eh?  Thats a grab Welker/Edelman make regularly.  Nice to see it can be done in our uniform.

I'd like to vent about the folks at the golf course in NC I was playing on Sunday afternoon.  I called ahead and asked them to put a satellite dish and small monitor in my cart, and it wasn't there! First game in about 7 years I didn't get to see live. What a game to miss! But I did watch it on the DVR last night.  More games like this please.

Not sure why you got negged, but I fixed it.

Haha! I am a golf nut, but believe me, if the game was available in the clubhouse(panthers game was on 3 TVs!  ahhhhh!, no Sunday ticket), I would have skipped the second 18. I never miss a game. I did keep track on my phone and couldn't believe the way the points were being racked up. And even though I didn't see it live it still brightened the day!

Try this (I do this a lot in the fall)...

18 in the morning, usually around 8-9am, and schedule a second 18 for about 430pm. Until about October, you can usually get the second 18 in before it gets dark.

One year we had a trip planned and it fell right on our bye week as well. Love when that happens.
