He's a safety, not a corner, in his second year. I remember two DB's for the Ravens taking a while to develop, but they did pretty damn well

Yup, lots of folks on here were talkin' about J. Smith being a bust too the first two years. Elam's been asked to do things that don't play to his strengths and he is NEVER gonna win a 1-1 battle with the speed of Yo (really that's a name now?) Murphy regardless of how many teams that guy has played for.

It's all based off of stats, but it's not something I'm sure we like to see considering the history of our defense.

The one that matters to me is that W

run Forsett, Pierce is literally our only back that for some reason cannot break off big runs, he's averaging less than 3 yds/carry

Louis Murphy, but he's being asked to play four different positions in a very complex coverage schemed defense

I hope so. There's no point in having him in there anymore. The Bucs aren't going to come back for crying out loud.

Practice. Our O needs it, after last week.

Damn it Tampa, if your going to get garbage Touchdowns throw them to Vincent Jackson. I need it for my fantasy teams.

LOL. No doubt, who would have thought Yo (So that's a first name now) Smurphy would score before V. Jackson?

Some of you are clearly overreacting. The Bucs are scoring in garbage time.

No one is over reacting, this has been a consistent problem since pees gor here. Now that the offense has pulled more than their weight, what's pees excuse today?

I've been a huge Elam supporter but he really hasn't played well in his short career. I think down the line Will Hill can be the SS and the FS can be some sort of Darian Stewart/Terrence Brooks rotation until Brooks is ready to be a full time starter

Switch that around with Will Hill Terrence brooks FS, Elam Stewart SS

Why do we play so conservatively every time we have such a big lead? Why allow the other team to come back at all? Don't get it...

Now we allow a ton of garbage yards and points... we need to play so we are considered the best no matter the situation in the game... that is what defined the 2000 Ravens!
