I picked us to lose in Indy and win in TB.....I will stick with that prediction.  Our offense is so much better than we saw yesterday...just gotta figure out the O-Line and the rest will click.  I say we win 30-21.

Gerald McCoy scares me but their outside rusher aren't great. I don't trust the O-line.

I'll be in Tampa Bay for this game; only the second Ravens game I'll see live and the first on the road.

The Bucs still aren't going to be considered a very good team nationwide, but they have obviously exceeded expectations the last two weeks. Today's loss doesn't bother me too much (at least not more than any loss should) because all we did was lose a close game to the league's top offense in their home stadium. The team didn't look great, but I'd hardly say we looked terrible, and our defense can keep us in any game. I'm expecting a bounce-back win against a team that still can't be trusted to rattle off consecutive wins. It might be an ugly win. That just seems to be our M.O. But, a win's a win, and I expect one this Sunday. That'll be easier if we can continue to gain some momentum with the running game, which I think would come more smoothly if Pierce and Taliaferro get more carries earlier in the game with Forsett getting more in the second half.

Considering the way our defense played against Luck, who's a future elite Qb if not already so, this game is a definite win. This isn't the same inconsistent team from last year. Although our offense is inconsistent from time to time, which has been ever since I've been watching Baltimore play.. We seriously should be use to this guys, this team overall is stable. I say we crush the Bucs, they beat the Steelers because they SUCK! They gave New Orleans a game because they're division rivals and also because they SUCK...

The Ravens have a tendency to be extremely inconsistent, so take our defenses last game with a grain of salt. The only consistant players on our defense are Jimmy and CJ

Asa out indefinitely and Canty out a couple of weeks. Fun!

Guessing Timmy Jernigan gets the start at DE, ironically when we go back to the state of Florida for a game. Quite fitting, and again Ozzie must have a crystal ball. He loaded up on the Dline with 2 young players, Jernigan and Urban. Canty is now injured, I know Urban is injured but thankfully we have Jernigan.

I want to see Jernigan have a nice game so he can show he can become the starter.

Has Jernigan been cleared to play yet?  I haven't seen that anywhere.

I know Bobby Rainey will be looking to prove a point Sunday in Tampa, but I think we should handle this game. Glennon is a good, albeit a young, QB with a good arm. But style wise and with his demeanor, he reminds me a lot of Flacco.

If they cant get a win against this squad then the season is a bust...

this  team is better than they seem.  and they're getting better as of late.

I couldn't say. I live here in Maryland, and just happen to be going down to visit family the week of the game. But, if the last few games we've played in the state of Florida over the past couple years are any indication, I wouldn't be surprised to see a larger number of Ravens fans in that stadium than we're accustomed to seeing at most away games.

Bucs were one of the surprises of the season so far and not in a good way. I thought they were going to light it up but a single W after 5 weeks is pretty telling. That came vs not-so-great Pittsburgh. I think they still are a good team and should be taken seriously. If the Ravens do that, we'll win.

When does Hill get back?

Secondary wasn't our strong suit to begin with but Asa was at least playing some solid football.

No you didn't call this a "definite" win and say that this isn't the same inconsistent team from last year?  :229031_rofl:  :th_snapoutofit:

Lol. An out of conference road game? Win or lose the season is not a bust. I find much of the overreaction to this last game comical. Look around the league. This is the nfl. There are no teams and no offenses that don't have bad weeks. Especially on the road. The ravens are still one of the best few AFC teams. I want to look further into what the bucs have been doing since that Thursday night debacle before giving my take on the match ups. But these type of statements are more foolish than all the talking heads changing the power rankings after every win and loss.

I live in Tampa and live about a mile from the stadium. There will be many Ravens fans down here and expect a large following. A good place to go before the game and meet is Lee Roy Selmons. It is also about a mile from the stadium and was recently voted the 10th best place to go before a sporting event out of all the 4 major sports. It's a great palace to go before the game and I go there every Sunday to watch the games. If you have never been to the stadium it is great atmosphere and hanging out by the pirate ship is a must. There is also international mall which has a Bar Loui and the Pub to name a few which is also close to the stadium. Not sure where everyone is staying but if anyone has any questions, please ask.

Everyone calling it "inconsistent road team"

How about the colts just played some dang good football yesterday? And we started an undrafted rookie at LT who got exposed

Yes we didn't play a dominant game but the colts played pretty well

I'm confident we'll bounce back strong and win this week

Huh?

A. We are an inconsistent road team

And

B. The colts played pretty bad yesterday. And we couldnt capitalize because we played even worse.

Yup. First road game for a rookie LT. I'm more concerned about Kubiaks not running the ball and the WRs not getting open than anything else.

TB will be a challenge as any road game is, but we should win handedly.

Yep. Only thing I think I really knocked in game thread

Did not like kubiak's calling at all

We gave hurst little protection besides KO/zuttah sliding over. Seems like they expected him to do fine on his own..

Point was everyone used the inconsistent road team line when that's not always the case

Colts defensive game plan was amazing and their offense stayed resilient even though we played pretty well defensively

Just a good game in a tough environment where they emphasized our weaknesses and we didn't execute like we could have

If we can't beat TB, our season could go south in a hurry. We need to come out of the 5 game stretch

beginning with Indy by going no worse than 3-2 and we're off to a bad start already. Our running game

is looking good but our passing game has been inconsistent. And, let's be real! When a defensive

lineman leads the team in pics, our defensive backfield is hurting. I'm surprised we weren't torched by Andrew Luck. Four turnovers may have been why we weren't. If the organization doesn't take

immediate steps to shore up our defensive backfield, Ryan, Dalton, Roethlisberger, Brees et al could

all have career days against us. One of the most overlooked stats in our loss to the team from Indy

was the lop-sided T.O.P.. That is the partly the result of a low percentage of 3rd down conversions

but is also due to the inability of the defense to get off the field. On the bright side, C.J.

Moseley is freakishly good and it was good to see Webbie back to better form. IMO his near miss on a

pick was due to his rustiness. We should win this one by a score of 27-21 because we have a better

team and because it is a must win ansd we seem to play better in must situations.

Yeah, credit where it's due for the Colts. A good team lost on the road to another good team (that happened to really need the win too) - not like it's time to go and plan for our top 10 pick or anything.
