Tampa has great defensive personnel so that spells bad for the offense.Mike Glennon can sling the ball and I still don't trust out secondary. I had this circled as THE trap game and I suppose I stick by it. We lose another slugfest due to inept road offense.

Hopefully we can at least minimize the idiotic mistakes we made this week.

True that...none of our units can afford mental mistakes. Now that we dumped this game while the Brownies found a way to victory means that we need to handle business by jumping out to a lead, holding it down, and salting the game away against an inferior opponnent. Being on the road, after today's performance, I'd say its 70/30 we come through.

Must win. Call it overreacting after watching today's game. I don't care. IF we can games on the road and take care of the home games as we usually do, then my 10-6 record should hold true.

Yeah I don't see that happening anymore. But this def. is a must win game. 3-3 is a death sentence in this division.

I also had this as a trap game, but after today's embarrassment, I think Ravens will crush TB. 35-10 Ravens.

I think the ravens will be looking for revenge, the bucs is def a favorable matchup although they did win today putting up 30 some points right?

I expect us to run the ball like 30 times on these guys. It seems like that is usually the case when we don't run the ball enough the game before.

Ya, feel ya. TB was on their way to winning today, but found a way not to finish. While we'll be favored, it will be important for us to get a good start, break their will, and salt the game away.

I expect us to go there and take care of business against a lesser team. If we don't, do we deserve to be in the playoff picture?

^^This.

I dont know enough to make a well enough informed guess.

As I read the posts here I noticed every one who prediceted a WIN for the RAVENS had a red negative -1.

I clicked every one of them up.  :)

I'll be in Tampa Bay for this game; only the second Ravens game I'll see live and the first on the road.

The Bucs still aren't going to be considered a very good team nationwide, but they have obviously exceeded expectations the last two weeks. Today's loss doesn't bother me too much (at least not more than any loss should) because all we did was lose a close game to the league's top offense in their home stadium. The team didn't look great, but I'd hardly say we looked terrible, and our defense can keep us in any game. I'm expecting a bounce-back win against a team that still can't be trusted to rattle off consecutive wins. It might be an ugly win. That just seems to be our M.O. But, a win's a win, and I expect one this Sunday. That'll be easier if we can continue to gain some momentum with the running game, which I think would come more smoothly if Pierce and Taliaferro get more carries earlier in the game with Forsett getting more in the second half.

It sure as heck won't be easy. Tampa Bay managed to beat the Steelers on the road and gave the Saints a good run for their money. I'm not saying the Steelers or the Saints are great teams at this point, but it's important to not underestimate this Buccaneers team. The #1 thing is for the offense to regain their rhythm, and make smarter calls. We've seen Flacco can obviously perform exceptionally well under this new offense, so there's no reason for him to not return to form. Defense was pretty solid against the Colts, so hopefully they do the same next week - force turnovers and be as stingy as possible in the red-zone. Our secondary also wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. I would agree with some that it could have been a 'trap' game, but after losing to the Colts, I think we will take this one very seriously and get back on track. As usual, we look like a better home than road team, but this is a very winnable game, and while I'm not going to sleep on Tampa Bay, the Ravens are simply the better team and are fully capable of getting this road win.

Ravens 27, Buccaneers 17

No Mike Evans, at least.

That is pretty big in terms of height. Hopefully we roll with Smith on Jackson as he matches up well with him and put the smaller guys on their smaller guys. I think that would help our secondary quite a bit. One player to watch though could be ASJ since he has a big height advantage on our LBs/S and some nice burst as well so he could be matchup problem. Mosely had a good game but he got beat a couple times by Allen although it depends who is on him as it will probably depend on the play.

Tampa will be running more a zone D so we can dictate who SS is on this week as opposed to Davis being on him most of the game last week. Hopefully that opens him up a bit more as it is clear that he is a big part of our offense.

The Raven must stick to what they do best; operate a balance offense with ground and air. Teams, will try to neutralize Steve Smith first by jamming him at the line with backup over top. The Colt then assumed that with the extra help trailing Smith that the Raven wouldn't likely attempt runs to that side and they didn't.

Not sure if TB can do the same but they will try and Kubiak has to be willing and able to adjust on the fly. That hasn't been a problem, exception is the Colts game.

This is a W..

Sure of it

Im honestly not trying to be negative, but seeing how our offense travels, how are you so sure. If we don't get a lead early, this Bucs team has shown they have the ability to hng around and give teams fits... then again they've also shown they can get blown the hell out.

Bucs are becoming the old Browns; the new Browns are becoming AFC North contenders. That said, the Ravens always had to fight it out with the old browns so I will expect to see a tough-it-out game.
