Torey has went up and caught alot of Flacco passes. He's not doing that anymore?

Well he dropped a bomb on the last drive................. Think he dropped a curl on that drive too........... Hmm...

Torrey just isn't doing well at all.  He doesn't look like the same person out there and I don't know what it is.  I'm wondering if he's simply not a fit for this offense.  He's still getting deep (although stats are negated by PI calls) but he's offering nothing in the intermediate game and that's not exactly a Kubiak-type player.

Biggest gripe I have is Torrey looks like it's a mental issue. He looks somewhat defeated out there as well. Not the same guy as before. Maybe something is getting to him. Not sure what. He just seems different.

I think he's naturally more of a vertical receiver and he's having his struggles in the system. Although some of his breaks looked a lot sharper than usual today and there's still an awful lot of season left, so who knows how he'll look when we host the Browns.

I thought so too. He just seems kind of disengaged from the game right now and I don't know why. I hope he figures it out and puts everything back together because I do really like the guy. He just seems out of it.

I am beginning to think that Torrey is really over-thinking stuff and needs to just go out there and play ball. I know he wants to do well and it means a lot to him but he isn't putting it together yet and I think that is affecting him mentally. Hopefully he can settle down a bit and do his thing, if he does then I think he can get right back on track.

Take away the dome and pumped in crowd noise and add in the playoff football atmosphere and Indy's defense will get absolutely torched by a team like SD, Cincy, Denver, or even us if we can get more consistent by the years end in this new offense. As much as I hate the Bengals and Chargers at least they have a respectable defense, I take Cincy and SD a lot more seriously then I take Indy once the playoffs start because they aren't just a one man show.

Luck will put together a nice regular season record carrying the team on his back week in and week out but when the playoffs roll around Indy is going to find out real fast that it takes a TEAM to win, not just one player. They wouldn't have even beat the Chiefs in the playoffs last year if Jamaal Charles didn't get injured in the 1st quarter and I don't even see KC making the playoffs this year.

One other thing I will get into since I just thought of this. We need a good 3rd WR. SS got shut down by a very good CB in Davis and Torrey had a bad game which happens although he was doubled a lot but having that 3rd WR would have been huge for us today. I feel Pitta could have been that guy for us if he were here. Owen could be that guy but we didn't target him enough for him to be effective. But that consistent 3rd WR could have done some real damage today as Indy put Davis on one guy and doubled the other. The 3rd WR would have been in some nice 1 on 1 matchups but the problem is we didn't have that guy today. Hopefully we can find that guy before the playoffs if we make it or we can get that guy for next year since it would have made a difference in a game like today.

I feel like Torrey's focus has just completely shifted from football to his new son and wife and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Torrey was a kid when he arrived here in Baltimore who's only priority was football, now he's a man and he's learning just how much effort and commitment it takes to raise a family and be a father. I think he just needs time to settle in right now, his life has changed so drastically in this last year.

Honestly i didnt see us winning this one at this point in the season.

However, when we are at full strength plus Will hill..we can beat those guys easy.

The Ravens OL got beat, and it wasn't adjusted in the second half.  It got beat because of personnel and because Indy's scheme worked again and again despite the fact the Ravens knew it was coming.  You don't give the quarterback enough time to throw the screen, or get the ball out into the flat you loose, you don't give your backs a chance to move you have no offense.  If the Defense hadn't played so well, it would have been a blow out.  It was good to have a game like this now, and not in the playoffs.  The Ravens get a chance to learn from these mistakes, and what they need to do to improve their line play.

I don't see how Marlon or Jacoby can't be a  solid number 3 receiver but growing pains should be expected in this offense. Colts fans  were saying they probably have one the best trio cornerbacks in the league which may be true.

Anyone think maybe trading for Greg Olsen if carolina are out of it in a few weeks seem like a good idea?

a mid round pick? He would bring exactly what pitta would have brought. His contract expires in 2016.

The case for Mosley as defensive rookie of the year is alive.  His hit on Luck in the ribs with the ball floating over Indy was a sight I did enjoy in that game.  The O line and general out of  touch chemistry was like watching paint dry.

Although we  lost only by one TD/PA we really lost by lack of Offensive chemistry for 4 quarters

Meanwhile Cleveland makes a statement, Pittsburgh wins and The Bengals take a loss.

We are in the thick of the race with the others, so my confidence that we are the division contender has to be regenerated through the week all over again.

We saw what happens to the offense when Steve Smith is neutralized. I was hoping they were prepared for this possibility but they weren't. Unless Pierce was hurt he should have run more plays; I found it interesting that they put him back on the bench.

Personally I was hoping that Harb accepted the kickoff to start the game to keep Luck on the bench as much as possible during the first half.

Sami84 came up with an idea.  He likes Olsen from the Panthers. I saw him play and he is good.

I suppose he means we should can Jus,Crocket and Supernaw in the second TE role. I think we play who we have, develope their skill sets then talk trades or deals in July 2015 if the season is not what the team envisioned.

I haven't been able to watch the game again yet so I'm probably a bit off base here, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pierce not getting many runs in the second half owed to the situation. That is, the running game wasn't working too well and time was more of a factor at that point.

Hopefully he can get some decent mileage against Tampa.

Just saw this on Facebook from Torrey.

I'm sick right now...never been in this position before...very trying times for me on and off the field but I will be better from this

Whether he's referring to his form, the dropped catch, some physical ailment he was battling or something else off the field, you have to kinda feel bad for the guy. Hope he gets it together over the next few weeks.

Aside from what I mentioned earlier, the o-line had major issues giving Joe enough time. It would seem the Colts still has Kubiak's number, the offense was pretty much man-handled. The defense kept it close, created some turnovers but eventually became winded. This was a total team loss in the end. But not the end of the season or world!

so much for a statement game,,,,

No! they made a statement it just wasn't what we hoped. As of now the AFC North is still up for grabs, even for the Browns.

Hurst, and every O line at some point, got owned today.  Gotta give it to Pags and indy, their D played way above their heads today. Great game planning.

Pags owned Kubes in the ravens 2011 playoff game, same score and all.

torrey smith honestly just looks uninterested and shows no intensity or fight when playing anymore, which is really sad seeing how he is one of the hardest working guys on the team.. i see no competiveness in anymore, not even in his route running

On the 2nd INT that was called back, Torrey Just stopped running, which lead to the INT. That play really pissed me off

Maybe im overreacting but id give Aiken, Brown and campanaro all extended playing time.

I agree here.

Yesterday, Indianapolis had the better offense; Indianapolis had the better defense. We all knew there were deficiencies on both sides of the ball and miracle of miracle Indianapolis found them and exploited them. We could have played many teams close yesterday but we would not have scored enough points to win. The offense is still gelling, let's hope they do it this year.

Go Ravens

The Colts had the better scheme on both sides of the ball. They sent more than the Ravens could block and the Ravens didnt copy instead they sat back in 3 and 4 man fronts and watched Luck put on a clinic. Awful strategy by Pees the guy is clueless I hope he learned a thing or two from an aggressive coach. Hurst was bad? Of course, the defensive schemes at the practices are probably as generic as the vanilla game plan and will leave any O lineman ill prepared for an aggressive defense. I dont understand how the offense operates on short yardage situations they are way to slow getting to the line and then they allow the defense to dig their heels in and diagnose the play ..smh. Get up there get set and snap the ball. They either design pass plays way too short or way too long for the markers I mean come on 3rd and 3 and they drop back 12 yards throw a screen an additional - 4 yards so now they need 19 yards for a first? Does anybody think they will allow the defense to play instead of this sitting back chasing down the other teams? I feel bad for the D they played hard but were not allowed to play aggressively and take over the game like the Colts did...Pees just allows the D to hang in there and occupy space at some point the veterans have to take over and take charge instead of this high school crap..

Mosley had a nice game, Torrey....torrey torrey don't even know where to start he

has been looking lack luster for some time now might be time to split ways

I thought the defense played well the O line could not do anything against the blitz.

oh well on to tampa

Remember that time less than a week ago when fans were clamoring for us to trade Eugene Monroe...

SIGH.

The issues yesterday were not limited to Hurst. The O line as a whole got owned.

Still silly to suggest trading Monroe.
