Week 5 - Baltimore Ravens (3-1) at Indianapolis Colts (2-2)

I don't agree with Gannon there... that was a perfect pass

It wasn't. Joe should have rocketed in there instead of lobbing it. Torrey beat him off the line. No need to lob it because the defender is already beat. Although it still could have been caught, but Torrey probably panicked because he has no hands.

Good and Bad

Good

Moseley what a stud

Ngata I don't know what he's on, but he is balling

Forsett playing like he wants a contract

Elam is getting better, but still needs to breakdown when he tackles

KO is our best offensive lineman..

Our record

Bad

Kubiak I am really starting to question his OC ability

Flacco- still holding on to the ball too long

D.Smith looks old I hope we cut him next year and a young backer steps up

Webb- I feel bad injuries have robbed him of his ability to flip his hips.

Wouldn't put Kubiak under the bad. Not his fault the OL struggled blocking today and WR's can't catch.

Damn, and it looks like the browns are going to win today.  Pitt won, and cinci can definitely beat the past their prime patriots

Torrey Can't adjust to any pass. It has be in his breadbasket for him to catch it. He saw the ball a little underthrown instead of turning to the ball and jumping up, he tries to make the over shoulder catch in which it still hit his hands.

I like Torrey, but he's soft, and I think his speed is vastly overrated. The only time he ever seems to be open is if he can get off the line clean

No blame here, Flacco had to make that throw or get sacked and Torrey tried his best. I did like to see some of you try to run down the field and make that catch. We were not expected to win this one, both teams played a weird game today. We will bounce back next week at Tampa.

Boldin with his strong hands makes that catch

Pitta would have too.

And now I get to watch Cleveland win and Pittsburgh should have won by now and the Bengals had the bye to prepare for NE. This is shaping up to be a bad week... which pretty much guarantees a win on Sunday.

Throws don't have to be 100% perfect if its within range you got to make a play. Simple as that.

And I can say protection doesn't have to be perfect for a damn qb to make a good throw.  Simple as that.  Make your read, understand your coverage and know where to go.

guys the ball had to be thrown over the defensive back but underneath the safety. if the ball was under thrown the defensive back would have gotten his hand on the ball. rather no one touched the ball but torrey. it hit him right on his fingers and he simply didn;t make the very manageable play. its a tough threw that flacco made and gave his receiver a very good chance to make the play and smith just didn;t make the play, again.

We need to move him around and not just play him on the outside. He will get jammed to death like he has most of his career. More bunch sets in order to get him a free release to go deep. If not he will average 2-3 catches per game.

Would the initials of the younger backer you're hoping Smith gets cut for happen to be AB?

"If Joe would've had just a little bit more time to throw"- is basically the theme of this game. Fitting, that it ended this way.

It's a lot easier to make a catch that hits you in the hands than it is to make a throw off your back foot with a lineman barreling down on you

Not even Rodgers played well earlier this year without help. Flacco was harassed all day. No QB could've played well under that kind of duress.

it's amazing that folks here don't hold flacco accountable for anything.

In our defense, we aren't being paid millions of dollars to catch the football.

Also, if Torrey hadn't dropped a ton of easier balls, he probably wouldn't get so much flack for this one, but now it's a disturbing trend.

Everyone is talking about that play.. Did anyone see where the safety was on the field

Flacco may not have been able to lead Torrey with the throw

Don't compare the two.  Rodgers is constantly making plays on the run behind a terrible o line.  That's why he's the best qb in the league though.

If that was Steve Smith on that last play, I promise you he would turn to the ball and try to highpoint it. We got receivers with stone hands, and it makes me feel bad for flacco sometimes because he has to be pinpoint.

He should have gunned it in there instead of making it a little lob pass.

I'll bite. Was he over the top, cause to me it looked like single coverage with no safety to Torrey's side.

The colts had no fear of our wrs today. We gave the colts wrs 10 yard cushions all game. The colts didn't start giving us any cushion until late in the 4th and that was only because they wanted us to make a bunch of underneath throws at that point. We need a Dez Bryant/Josh Gordon/Julio Jones/Brandon Marshall/Demaryius Thomas type of guy BAD!!I don't don't know how we're going to get him but that needs to be our top priority in the off season.

I don't get why Indy has a bad defense every year but when they play us they look like one of the best defenses in the league.
