Starting to tick me off that nobody's getting hired. We have to go deeper than I thought to keep Kubiak.

I'm the same, and I'm starting to think Kubiak's going to be an even hotter commodity than we realised.

Didn't the majority of the franchises that fired someone shortly after the 2013 season end up hiring within the week?

Was just thinking about this. It's a bit unnerving considering how quickly it happened last year but what can you do... It was always going to come to what Kubs really wants.

Tampa Bay has announced that Dirk Koetter is their new OC.

The Washington Redskins have hired Scot McCloughan has their new GM. He has spent 20 years as a scout or Team Executive in Green Bay, Seattle and San Fran. Considering how well those franchises have been built, Washington may be in good hands with this new GM.

The slow hiring process coupled with all the assistants being let go is going to lead to a huge scramble for coordinators and other staff coaches this year before the Senior Bowl and Combine. It'll be rapid fire.

Yeah me too, thought for sure we would have had 1 or 2, maybe three hirings by now. I mean once we beat the Patriots again, I'd imagine Josh McDaniels will be named the Falcons HC on Monday. With Dimitroff, Pioli there in Atlanta, and the fact they are trying to convince Mr. Blank to hire McDaniels over Rex, it may just happen. It would essentially turn into New England South.

Could someone help me out and find this for me?

Who is currently the longest tenured offensive coordinator? I wish there was some list out there for this. Just curious on the matter.

Wiki has this one:

Thanks, man!

I know they frequently get fired and search for promotions but I'm still shocked to see Todd Haley tied for 2nd longest with Clements and Mcdaniels.... Feels like yesterday I remember reading what a horrible hire he was for the Steelers.

Won't feel as bad when Kubiak leaves since its a non stop revolving door around the league.

So Cam's tenure would have been up there with the longest when he was given the boot. Hard to say how that makes me feel, it's probably a nice thought that we don't just fire guys because "we must do something, this is something so therefore we must do it" like certain other teams do.

Dick LeBeau out as defensive coordinator. Says he and #Steelers have agreed to mutually part ways: "Time to go in a different direction."

Wow!  Dick LeBeau IS the Pittsburgh Steelers, this is something I never envisioned.

No matter what else happens, this will be the surprise of the day.

Bills bringing back Rex Ryan for a second interview.

It is being said Falcons are "dragging their feet" when it comes to Rex Ryan. Not surprising as Dimitroff and Pioli are trying to convince Blank to hire McDaniels.

I want to see Rex in Buffalo.  He knows how to beat the Pats and keeping him in the AFC East allows him to continue his rivalry there and creates a new one with the Jets.

He's also had issues handling an offense though, and the QB situation is not good in Buffalo.  He should go to Atlanta if he has a choice.

His choice is great - either coach QBless or Dless team.

Sounds like LeBeau isn't super happy about leaving... dare I say 'forced out'? Wow. One less familiar face on that sideline. Time to have a healthy dislike/respect for someone else

He would immediately make that D better, and he wouldn't have to worry about the offense as much with Matt Ryan.

Bruce Arians can empathize if that is the case.

Pittsburgh is going to have a very unfamiliar looking defense next year. I hope whoever they pick up is utterly incompetent.

Mike Tomlin could exert his will on defense more now.  I could see them moving to a 4-3 now, since I believe that was more his forte.

My Steelers wife is so happy Dick LeBeau resigned, she was never a fan. Thought he played too much prevent defense late in games and she hates the prevent defense. Can't say I blame her, I do not like it either. I pray they do not go after Rex Ryan if he does not pick up a HC job.

Kind of disrespect for LeBeau's loyalty; the dude is the master defensive of mind in NFL history and couldn't retire with his beloved team.  I hate the Steelers but mad respect for LeBeau's defensive mind.

However, I wouldn't mind we go up against soft Steelers defense in the next few decades...lol

Rex Ryan going to Buffalo with EJ Manuel/Mark Sanchez (maybe) as his QB. smh  Didn't he just leave a Geno Smith/Mike Vick circus? Not that I'm criticizing but Rex must be hoping to be named Patron Saint of Hopeless Causes. Atlanta or San Fran, if they offered, had to be better options. Will the Bills follow the same 5-yr downdraft Rex guided the Jets to? We don't play the Bills until the 2016 season; we'll see then. Still smh, perhaps Rex had no better offer.
