Gary Kubiak is getting the band back together in Denver. Not only did he bring guys over from Baltimore that he knew, but he brought over a guy from Houston and just signed Wade Phillips to be the Broncos DC.

So basically Elway said the best chance Denver has to win a Super Bowl is to let Kubiak bring everyone he knows in because it worked so well in Houston. Plus Phillips is a 3-4 guy meaning good bye 4-3 D and the D being blown up so they can bring in 3-4 guys in and get rid of the 4-3 guys.

Hate to say it, but this is disaster in the making, and that's not even including Peyton Manning's father time problem.

Actually they don't need to blow up their defense because of a scheme change.  Phillips runs a one gap 3-4 that works very similarly to a 4-3.

Good hire IMO, he's a good DC.

Their defensive personnel is pretty versatile as is to be honest. No need to blow anything up.

DEJA VU in Denver. Like the staff so far. They were onto something until Matt Schaub forgot how to complete passes to his own guys. Will be interesting to see Von Miller and Ware on the edges.

Since when did the Texans relocate to Denver?

Dick LeBeau is joining the Titans coaching staff as the "assistant head coach/defense" position.

Patriots Special Teams Coach Scott O'Brien is retiring but will stay with the team in some capacity. Assistant Special teams coach Joe Judge will replace O'Brien.

Damn Broncos are even poaching our interns.

@RavensInsider: After interning last season with Ravens, assisting special teams, Tony Coaxum expected to be named Broncos assistant special teams coach

This is interesting.

@RavensInsider: Steelers name Jerry Olsavsky as inside linebackers coach and Joey Porter as outside linebackers coach.

Tom Coughlin has earned the right to stay until he wants to retire. Don't think those issues fall on him.

Well the Giants just extended his contract through 2016 adding another year to his current contract to avoid the lame duck status for 2015.

The Steelers have announced a contract extension with Head Coach Mike Tomlin through the 2018 season.

Still hard to believe that Tomlin is only the third Head Coach in Steelers history. Amazing when you see so much turnover from other teams.

I wonder if we're still gonna hear "Tomlin needs to go" from Steelers fans if stuff hits the fan.

Maybe 'history' according to Steelers fans - they don't like to remember their stinkier times.

Between 1933 - 1969 they had 16 coaches (including 3 in 1941 and one guy who came back twice, you could make that 17), ending with Noll. Through those 37 years, they had 7 winning seasons and made the playoffs once.

Yeah was going to post the same thing, don't let those guys forget that they have been around far longer than the merger.
