Broncos will be in the AFC West basement. One less team to worry about in the AFC.

I was hoping they would win the division next year and get flogged by us in the first-place schedule the year after. Looks like the Patriots and Colts are the lucky ones.

Yep, the Pats and Colts have the byes locked up. Unfortunately not only do we have a tough schedule, we're also in a division full of teams that aren't walkovers.

@VicLombardi

NEW INFO: Entire Broncos coaching staff let go. Not just John Fox. All assistants gone according to several players.

Good luck with the rebuild. See you in 10 years.

Peyton is retiring for sure,no way he's going to want to come back to a team where the entire coaching staff is brand new. Denver is officially in rebuild mode.

Meaning hello years of Ravens/Patriots AFC Title Games.

The Chargers now become the team we have to worry about in terms of seeding, and KC as well.

AFC West teams tend to beat each other up too (like AFC North teams) so a #3 seed is in play, at least.

I have the Chiefs as the favorite right now.

I was curious what would happen with Schwartz with Rex in town. He is expected to leave Buffalo as we know, Rex runs a 3-4, Schwartz runs a 4-3. Well it looks like the Bills are taking a good thing and messing it all up.

The Broncos are interested in interviewing Seahawks DC Dan Quinn for their Head Coaching position.

Orton is hanging up his cleats, and of course, Buffalo has no first round draft pick to use for the most important position.

He retiring? I didn't know that.

So they chose to start rebuilding because now you take Manning a major reason to return. Why should he come back and start all over again with a new HC if Gase also leaves? Ok for me with our Ravens playing them next year!

Jason Garrett has signed a 5-year $30M deal to remain Head Coach of the Cowboys. DC Rod Marinelli is also staying on the coaching staff as well.

Last I checked Jason Garrett had the Cowboys at 8-8 three years in a row before being one and done in this years playoffs. Yet he's getting $6M a year? Wow Jerry. Harbaugh is making nearly $7M a year for us and at least he earned it. Garrett did nothing to earn $6M a year.

Matter of fact, we dodged the Garrett's bullet, otherwise Ravens nation would be suffering one and done season......

Todd Bowles has been hired as the new head coach of the New York Jets.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000458689/article/new-york-jets-hiring-todd-bowles-as-head-coach

Thought for sure, he'd end up in Atlanta. Was checking the Falcons forum and they said the Falcons are high on Teryl Austin and moved his interview up to Wed instead of Thursday. They also wanted to bring in Dan Quinn on Monday, but if they are moving Austin's interview a day, he's their guy. Austin interviewed in Chicago yesterday and Denver also wants to speak to Austin. They may be trying to hire him quick if he's there guy before he can leave to Denver and they lose out on another HC.

Though, I was hoping Atlanta was going to wait for McDaniels, just so I can laugh at them for hiring him. It be funny if they lose out on Austin and all their top guys and Dimitroff/Pioli get their wish and McDaniels ends up in Atlanta after all lol.

Love this Twitter post:

Yesterday: "hi I'm todd bowles the new York jets head coach"

3 years from now: "hi I'm Todd bowles and I'm an alchaholic"

New team... same old Rex.

“It’s been 15 years since the Bills made the playoffs. Well get ready, we’re going,” Ryan said.

He said that the Bills would build a “bully” and see if other teams want to face them for 60 minutes, that the Bills would lead the league in defense and took a shot at former Buffalo coach Doug Marrone by saying that the team deserved a “loyal coach.”

That's what the Bills wanted. It's been 4 years since Rex go to the playoffs, too.

I did!  I'm not shocked by this move whatsoever.  I had a feeling when I heard his name being mentioned that Del Rio would be the new HC for the Oakland Raiders.  Good for him!

I think he was being sarcastic.

After listening to the callers on Schein on Sports this morning, a lot of people seem OK with the idea. I hope Rio does well.  I'm ready to see some of the lesser AFC teams become good as the era of Manning and Brady come to an end.

I think it's kind of a shame a team like the Jags didn't end up with Andrew Luck. Back to the Colts being a major power for the next decade.

Hopefully Derek Carr pans out and the Raiders don't lose it with JDR too early.
