Remaining Schedule

6-10. Not sure what team y'all are watching but we suck.

A. We're gonna get some guys back from injury

B. We have more then 1 winnable game left of the schedule.

They are just games. Watch the games for entertainment. They will win some and lose some, maybe they win the division or get a WC, but this team isnt a title contender or anything. 7 games to go dont invest more than viewing pleasure.

9-7.........on a prayer. The way this team is playing we'll be lucky if we go 4-3 the rest of the way. I'm so disappointed. Up until recently we could have legitimately been undefeated or a one loss team (loss being to Indy).

 vs Tenn   WIN

@ NO LOSS (And I'll be at the game smh)

vs SD (LOSS)

@MIA (WIN)

vs Jax (WIN)

@HOU (LOSS)

vs CLE (WIN)

9-7........not a good look.

I hear you...but Jimmy can't fix the rest of that defensive backfield. And unless the turnovers stop immediately we won't win much else.

Well at least plays Cleveland at Cincinnati on Thursday night. Chances are we many not be in last place for long (I hope.....)

Agree except Houston, believe we'll beat them, not sure what your reasoning is there.

Also the San Diego game is a toss up as it's at home and they're struggling as of late.

He's not the only injury back there. And agreed, the turnovers have to stop.

9-7 and thats with 1 slip up in those last three games. And a victory over either Miami or N.O.

Or

10-6 victories over Tenn, Miami, Houston, Jac, and Cleveland.

Either way I dont see it being enuff. KC and SD will push for a wildcard spot. Bills and Miami will push. And 3 teams from our own division.

Honestly, I don't think the Ravens get in with a 10-6 record.  Too many other teams in the hunt.  They can only comfortably afford to lose 1 game from here on out to be guaranteed post season play.

They have a good front seven and our O-line can be leaky. Plus they have Watt (I'm not a huge fan of) but he's wrecked plenty of Ravens games as well as other teams.

Agreed. We don't stand a chance in almost any tiebreaker situation. We need to basically win out and have a flatout better record than any other team vying for a wild card. Unless Cincy just completely collapses I don't see how we'd win the division.

Okay, so why aren't you a fan of JJ Watt or did I simply misunderstand you?

Disagree.

1. We certainly don't need to win out... 11-5 will virtually guaranteed a playoff spot.

2. Keep in mind that many of the teams we are perceived as competing against for a Wildcard spot (Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Miami, San Diego) we play this season. If we finish 10-6, but have swept Cleveland and beaten Miami and SD, that's going to at least help in the tiebreakers. In a two team tiebreaker, H2H is first priority. And even in three or more team tiebreakers, H2H can matter as well as conference record, with those victories all helping us.

Personally, I think Cleveland,KC, and Buffalo are going to fall out of the race at some point in December, and I think you'll see Ravens, Steelers, Chargers and Dolphins competing for two playoff spots.

He's probably disappointed with JJ's TD production this year - half the season gone and Watt only has 3.

Looking at the Ravens remaining schedule, I think they at least lose to either the Chargers, Dolphins, or the Browns. Possibly all three.

Nothing about the Chargers scares me at the moment... they might be playing worse than us.

I've said from the beginning of the season... Chargers and Cowboys are sort of frauds. There's things they do well, but both are extremely talent deficient on defense, and eventually talent on defense wins out.

I'm more concerned about New Orleans and Miami.

If the Browns win (which i'm sure they won't) if it means having the bengals lose a divisional game, then I don't mind being in last place for week 10.

While the Chargers aren't that good of a team, they do have a solid passing game and can take advantage of the Raven's secondary. I think the Ravens will win but that still worries me a bit. However, yeah, the Saints in the dome is a scary match up too.

I hope you know that we belong in the same bout as the chargers

Many said the same about the Bengals the week of that game.  They were 0-2-1 the previous 3 weeks before they played us and look what happened.

Yeah, we lost a road game to a division opponent. Not exactly unexpected.

There was nothing about the Steelers that scared me either. Its one thing to be scared of your opponent. Its another thing to recognize your own weaknesses and question who can exploit them.

Frankly, if I'm looking at the rest of our schedule, there's not a single team that scares me either. The Saints aren't nearly as good as people think they are (as their performance has shown). That doesn't mean we will beat them, because there's nothing about us that scares them either.

Rivers has tore the Ravens up before. He has a quick release similar to Opie and the Ravens strategy of playing 15 yards off the line allows those guys to dink and dunk all day. Brees plays in an offense similar to the Ravens hold the ball forever and rely on the home run ball every other toss, not working this year.. So to say SD isnt a dangerous team isnt accurate, they have been bitten by the injury bug far worse than the Ravens and are still in the mix..Flowers, Hardwick, Verrett, Mathews, Brown and so on...Imagine if the Ravens had to go back to GRAD at center and Foresett and ZO were out?
