That post game interview by Steve Smith was some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard. That man just wrote the book on how to diss your former team!

Is it just me or did anybody else think that carolina all but quit by the 4th quarter?

I was thinking the same thing. What a difference a year can make, huh?

Kuechly didn't look quite as good either. I think the concerns in him out of college ate very legitimate. He needs a solid DL to dominate. Not that other LB don't because they certainly do, but he we'd essentially a non-factor in this game.

I was very unimpressed with Kuechly and I now think he's the most overrated defender in the game. Looked soft as anything and I saw him run away from blocks on at least two occasions. Soft!

I was really impressed with first two years but I have to agree. He really looks lost at the moment.

I saw alot of hands on hips and other obvious body language that screamed "I quit". Even the offensive playcalling from the panthers perspective was vanilla most of the second half. Cam was feeling it.

Being a Ravens fan is not good for a person's health with all the close games. It's nice when we get a blowout. Hopefully there are more this year. I don't really have many complaints about this game except the few blown plays on secondary.

one bad game makes your overrated and soft? Believe it or not, the way our oline is playing that could be the best line he faces all year.

People have bad games.

Nope we have to automatically follow the espn model we all hate to listen to and call someone the best or worst by using one game to base the idea on

This game reinforced my previous thoughts on Kuechly. I'm not basing this on one game. I'm basing it on his track record in college and in the NFL.

Many claim him to be the best MLB in the game. If he is the best MLB in the game, why did I see him guessing gaps instead of reading them and running away from blocks instead of stacking and shedding? Because he's soft and overrated.

Never said he was the worst, but he's not as good as many think. No doubt he's a beast in coverage, but I question his physicality and toughness.

I would say he's overrated because I know some thought he was the best defender in football. I think that's wrong. That still goes to Watt. Also, the DL just didn't keep him clean. With that said, he hasn't had the best year so far outside of the first game.

Now this I can agree with.. Joe Haden is the most overrated defender in the league right now and that isn't even close

I still say luke is a top 10 MLB and I'd put him too 5 in the up and coming MLB's but yes he's having a rough start

Yeah, that contract the browns gave him was pretty stupid. Dude gets microwaved too easily. He's not a top 5 corner, maybe not even top 10 this season.

Kuechly just looked like another guy on sunday and the sunday before.

Like all players Kuechly needs a team around him. He's a good player regardless of an individual game where he doesn't excel. Not addressing whether he's underrated or overrated by the media just that he is an outstanding player in general.

I always feel like the Ravens never win comfortably. There always nail bitting stress fess. No matter if were playing a sucky or good team..So the Steelers and Panthers games have been fun to watch when u can sit back and enjoy the 4th quarter and just chillax.

Just for reference, PFF had Kuechley as one of their big overrated players this past offseason. I like him as a player but I think there are better guys at MLB in the NFL. He is a young player however and should get to that at some point but I think the expectations for him are sky high right now and I don't know if he can measure up to them yet.

I'm not sure about "always", but that was most definitely the case last year. So far this year, we've had as many games won comfortably as we had all of last year and we're only a quarter of the way through. With 4 out of our next 5 on the road, these comfy wins may be harder to come by, but I like seeing us turning a lead into a blow-out, rather than turning it into an adventure.

Don't want to hijack this thread, just wanted to make one point. How funny is it (I know its said all the time) but for anyone watching the game tonight, how bad is the Pats offensive line struggling. All the talk during the game is how the Patriots are starting two rookies on the offensive line. Well wait one second, the Ravens are starting a 2013 5th round pick and an undrafted rookie free agent at left tackle. what did we do...over 450 yards of offense, no sacks, and 38 points. What do the Patriots do...put up 7 points with a couple sacks and a sack fumble. Now you could say its the panthers vs the chiefs, but in terms of defensive lines the panthers are no slouches. It's times like these that make me love Ozzie and how much resolve the Ravens show when starting new guys/rookies stepping up. I don't know if its just Harbuagh is that great of a guy that people want to play for or if its the veterans forcing guys to step up, but time and time again we see a new face come to the ravens and step up (and this isn't new, think of all the guys the Ravens have had that do nothing either before or since)

You know what it is. Let the media shun us. I LOVE it! But I'll be rooting for the Pats next week for obvious reasons lol.

Incredible game by Joe!!!

He's playing better than what I thought was his best case scenario.

Doing that in the storm of issues that has surrounded this team thus far has been nothing short of outstanding.
