Eugene Monroe to have minor knees surgery out indefinitely

I think it has to do a lot with Hurst has never played a snap against starters and the Browns have a dirty front seven. Given Hurst was just getting used to his leg against actual competition in the preseason, probably not best to put him up a front like the Browns

True, but the Panthers front seven is even nastier in my opinion (though they don't have Hardy).

If there was a list of 3-4 teams that would be the worst teams to face in your first ever start as an offensive lineman, the Panthers would be on that list in my opinion. The only real benefit is that it is at home.

I'm not terribly worried with Hardy being out. Charles Johnson will give him a test for sure, but the strength of that front seven is the middle with Short, Star, and Kuechly

Yeah, given a choice I'd rather have Monroe wait a bit and come back properly.

Hopefully Hurst plays an unconditioned Clowney the whole time he is starting for us lol

Don't find myself saying this often with you, but couldn't agree more brah. No excuses no explanations.

It's all good man!  I don't agree with most in here either but we're all still Ravens family! :D

Terrible news, hope everything goes well with Eugene and he is back soon. I think Hurst has some great potential, I just personally don't think he is ready this year, just like Wagner last year. That first year for any o-lineman is often a difficult transition but by year two they have either shown they can handle it or they can't. Good luck James, we are all going to need it. Prove me wrong and come out and dominate Sunday!
