Week 4 Discussion (Other Teams)

575 posts in this topic

Would you believe it, after week four is done the NFL season will be a quarter of the way done. So far it's been a very interesting season. Bengals, Cardinals and the Eagles all sit atop the undefeated throne. Now we finally get to see Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater after Henne was horrible, and Cassel was injured. What does week 4 have in store?

Key Games:

Giants @ Redskins: History lesson. In 2001, Drew Bledsoe got injured in the second game of the season paving way for the Tom Brady Era in New England. 2014, RG3 gets injured in the second game of the season, leading to the Kirk Cousins era? Are the Giants going to turn it around after starting 0-2, which last time they did they won the Super Bowl, beating the perfect 18-0 Patriots.

Packers @ Bears: The Packers lost to the Lions last week and can't afford another divisional loss but a banged up Bears secondary might be the cure Aaron Rodgers needs after struggling thus far in 2014.

Jaguars @ Chargers: Now is the real test for Blake Bortles. Bortles actually put up points for the Jaguars once Henne was pulled in the loss against the Colts. He looked good in the preseason, but can he be that good against starting defenses?

Eagles @ 49ers: 49ers are falling apart, the yearly Jim is going to go to Michigan rumors are back and the 3-0 Eagles are coming to town.

Falcons @ Vikings: The Falcons now see another new rookie quarterback starting for the first time. Enter Bridgewater. Cassel is done with a foot injury paving way for the Bridgewater era in Minnesota.

AFC North Related:

Buccaneers @ Steelers: Seems the Steelers woke up last Sunday Night against the Panthers and they have another easy game against the 0-3 Buccaneers.

Bengals/Browns: Both Ohio teams are on a BYE this week.

So who do you guys think is winning tonight?

I think the Giants are underrated and last week began to show signs of clicking, but I'm going Washington this time.

Just tipping the winner of these games does interesting things for my care factor in these otherwise irrelevant games.

NFL to CBS: Sure you can split the Thursday Night packages, you'll get great games.

Week 2: Ravens win 26 to 6 over the Steelers

Week 3: Falcons destroy Buccaneers 56 to 14

Week 4: Looking to be another blowout as the Giants lead 24-7 over the Redskins.

Merriweather and Clark are the suckiest and dirtiest safety tandem in the league. Two hyper inflated egos too

Pitty they don't get to see Smith Sr this season
