Good Game/Kudos/etc..

Good game to you all today.  I sound like a broken record I feel when I say "we came close but in the end we just didn't have enough."  Pretty much the Browns slogan nowadays but none the less they hung in there.  I think Hoyer and Shanahan are really doing some good things on offense and I love love LOVE the fact that they're getting West and Crowell both involved in the run game.  I feel bad for Ben Tate but really where do you put him when he is healthy again?  How do you tell West and Crowell to take a seat?  They've been nothing short of rock stars.

As far as the Ravens - they won but they just don't seem like the same Ravens of old but none the less they got the job done.  Flacco for all of his highs and lows did what he needed to do when it mattered most to get the win.  He deserves a good amount of credit.  I also hope whatever happened to Pitta isn't too serious.

Again - good game, good luck and we'll meet again at the end of the season!

You too! I knew this Browns' team was close to being a threat but man...they have a really good chance of being deadly. It's still too early to tell but I think they'll be okay.

Nice back field and wr core when Gordon is back. Top o line and a defense as well. Look no further than the Bengals to see how quickly a team can turn around. You all have been in every game. We got lucky. You all have a tough squad.

You too! Always been classy Browns fan... I'm gonna kinda miss you :P.

You're a Josh Gordon away from being great... Oh. Just do me a favor and get rid of Skip Bayless' lover? Thanks

Browns are for real and it will be better for all the AFC North teams now as there are no weak team....each team can beat the other on any given day....gonna make for some exciting, nail biting games like yesterday for years to come.  And yes, thanks to the Browns fans for a very classy response to Pitta's injury...that was nice to see after the sadness of seeing Dennis go down....

It was a good game and gotta give props to the Browns fans for being very classy when Pitta went down. #Respect.

I thought they would boo him or something, but it surprised me that they show support and respect to a wounded player....

Browns gave the Ravens all they could handle and then some.  Really tight game and I agree that its not the Ravens of old.  Our D got exposed...Hoyer played pretty mistake-free football, and there is a solid talent pool across the board in Cleveland.  Probably not solace in any way, but I look forward to you guys taking down Pitt in your next meeting.  Not sure Cincy's gonna lose an AFCN game this year though.

I'll second that.  It was a really hard thing to see on a lot of levels and the fans seemed to recognize that.

It's always nice to hear from classy fans of other sides. It was a good game (Pitta's injury aside :( ) and I think a lot of games in the near future between the two sides will be close and hard-fought.

Hopefully this game gave our defence the wake-up call it needed, although I doubt it will, and that you guys go on to get one or two wins off the Bengals for us. Give it a year or two and the AFCN will be in a universal conversation as the toughest division in the league along with the NFCW.

its a difficult intangible to over come but to win a team needs more then talent. it needs the mentality to expect to win. i'm not sure how that is acquired. you definitly see in in the squealers and the ravens alike.

i don't balme cundiff for missing the 50 yarder but you need to hit the chip shot. if hoyer completes the last pass that he threw a little behind the reciver, it would have been a first donw and game over. the penalites the browns incurred were frequent, hurtful and avoidable.

my daughter went to michigan state during hoyers last year. i watched all of the games. hoyer never played well in the big games and was just not a very accurate passer eventhough he had offensive assets relative to the college game. the big home game against ohi state was over a halftime because of his poor qb play.

i know guys can evolve and i wish him the best but i would be suprised if he becomes a franchise qb. derek anderson started off hot for the browns as well.

Cincy will by the time we play them next Hill should be in there and our offense should be clicking a little more. Although we did lose Pitta so we may have to find some other options. Every NFL team has their flaws. Cincy can be run on this year and they don't score well in the redzone.

The Browns have a good solid all around blue collar team. Their QB can play mistake free and their o-line is really good. Their secondary is good but if given time you can find the holes. i enjoyed watching the game and are glad we pulled it out. I couldn't stomach 1-2 all in our division.

flacco didn't start at pitt and transfered to small school deleware and is now a superbowl mvp, tebow was arguably the best college qb of the last decade and that didn't translate to the nfl... maybe after all these years hoyer figured it out. after all he was good enough to be a starting Michigan state qb. If anything Hoyer has proved to be the opposite in big games, he lead a comeback vs pitt that fell short because of the defense. He played an awesome game against the ravens and again the defense fell short.

Classy man!

I don't care what anyone says...the Browns are a good team man!  I knew that the Ravens would have their hands full with them and the Browns didn't disappoint in that regard.  After 3 weeks of gameplay the Ravens still have tons of work to do in order for them to become a solid, scary and formidable team to make a Super Bowl run imo.  Good luck to you guys the rest of the way!

Good game, Browns Fan. That game was the most scared I've ever been of the Browns. I think you get a winning season this year, and maybe even a wildcard spot if Hoyer keeps it up.

We may easily replace the NFC West as the best division in the NFL.

we can talk about the browns being a good team but what about the ravens not being a very good team. that defense yesterday, especially in the secondary was very bad.  any qb in the nfl can beat you if they have time to throw. i'm not sure if we even had a qb hurry yesterday.  dare i say it, kyle boller could beat you if he had time to throw the ball.

"Kinda" miss me?  What the hell?  I should be at least worthy of your full attention when it comes to missing me.  And where am I or you going?  Skip Bayless can go rot in a cave as far as I'm concerned.  WITH his lover Stephen A. Smith.

For the most part some valid points.  The biggest thing for the Browns to overcome has been the mentality of winning.  If they play even an average 4th quarter as well they don't lose the game.  I think Hoyer looks good so far but ultimately time will tell.  The one thing I can say is that with him at the helm and Shanahan calling the plays they really look like they flow better then they have in quite some time.  I also think West and Crowell have been phenomenal at RB and helped out a LOT.

Currently as I see it our biggest weakness is the secondary.  Justin Gilbert may pan out to be a great CB (and hopefully so) but right now he is really struggling as a rookie.

Appreciate the words!  Here's hoping the team builds on this moving forward.  The good news is they can't lose this week.  :D

You aren't the worst team in the division, and I don't think you finish that way this year. The Steelers put up much less of a fight (granted that was in Baltimore), and now they have major injury concerns. Cleveland has a shot to go like 6-2 at home this year, so it'll be a matter of stealing a couple of road wins to end up with 8 or 9 total this year.
