Sad to see Pitta go, it hurts. But Juice stepped up to the plate big time, showed off his potential with the nice route running he pulled off. No only that, he provided holes for the RBs all day.

Hopefully he gets more appreciation, he's our Swiss Army Knife it looks like.

We'll be seeing a lot more of him if Pitta is done.  Glad to see him finally get some action and make the most out of it.

I wanted him at TE in the beginning of the season because it seems like a waste to shove a great talent at a role which doesn't see the field much.

I thought it was cool how he got that big play on the same screen play Pitta got hurt on. I liked seeing Juice used in the backfield and on the line. Didn't look bad at all. Blocking looks better too.

His run blocking really wowed me today.  He made some crushing blocks and was a big part of our running attack today.  I'm impressed with his improvement this year.

Was very impressed with him today. About time we got him involved. Idk why but I felt like we were saving him for today's game. Excited to see how we use him from here on out though. He should definitely pick up the slack.....

With Pitta most likely done, Juice & Gilmore will both have to grow up, quick............ Torrey too. -_-

Gilmore didn't look bad blocking. Not a big sample size but he looked decent there. Not sure how he is running routes. Not bad at that in college, but we'll probably find out soon.

They'll start flexing Juice out on the line now to run their two TE sets.  I doubt Juice lines up on the line like a TE but the route concepts and play calling shouldn't have to change much.  Just depends how well he can get open down field off the line.

Next man up applies here, along with Gilmore.  I'm going to be optimistic about Gilmore's ability to run routes and catch the ball.  He did it pretty nicely in preseason if memory serves.  Juice is definitely an offensive weapon.

Juice looked out there running and catching. I liked how he asked for the "FB" screen just once to get it out of his system in the article last week and they ran it and it worked! I got a good laugh out of that. Great boost to the team after losing our playmaking TE. Hope Pitta can go on IR w/DTR and get back this season.

OK, I read this on ESPN's FF site:

"The loss of Dennis Pitta (hip) last week left Baltimore resorting to deeper options in the passing game, but don't expect the team's beefy fullback to see consistent enough work to warrant a fantasy roster spot. Juszczyk may never top his 54-yard, one-score performance.-LH"

That italicized part gave me a chuckle.

Juice will certainly get his opportunities in fantasy this year if he stays healthy, I wouldn't call him a great option compared to others but a decent FLEX out of him would be pretty sweet

There's just too many options in Baltimore for me to start anyone besides Steve Smith.

Yeah I agree, Juice will probably end up being TD dependent where if he scores he can be a pretty solid FLEX play while if he doesn't then there are better guys out there. If anything, I would probably use Juice as a fill in or an emergency start but he could develop into more if he turns into a consistent TD guy.

I see Jusczyk as one of these guys who's great to have on your roster and adds some brilliant tactical wrinkles, but a terrible fantasy add. Too much time blocking, and receptions will be fairly short and not consistent enough to warrant a spot.

But it's a good job fantasy scoring is a terrible evaluator of actual talent. If you're a DC, you have to plan for him doing pretty much anything because of how ridiculously versatile he is.

And from last year we all knew what he was physically capable of.

I love Juice receiving out of the backfield but I WOULD like to see him run some routes at TE.

I haven't seen Gilmore thrown at except for week 1. I think he made a nice catch of a 20yrd pass but it came back due to a penalty.

I want Jus to be TE moreso than anyone else.  He has the experience of full back and TE at prestigous Harvard and his physical assets are something our coaches should exploit.  I can even spell his name when I'm  wearing my '013 #40 jersey.  If he can get 10 or so touches a game, we have another premier weapon that Joe can brag about.

I'm going to assume the problems are that he can't block very well.  Him going out for passes won't work very well if he isn't feared in the run game at all.
