Praying for Pitta.

I'd rather have lost this game instead of him. Hopefully it's not career threatening. Major bummer. :(

Very disappointed in the secondary , cept Jimmy <3 , and the receivers. Can't wait to see the Steelers take on the Panthers so I can see who were playing next week.

Glad we got out with a win but lets not forgot the infuriating mistakes and bad plays.

edit : Also Cundiff 0/2, Tucker 3/3 and the game-winner. Feels really good.

Defense is awful. Elam can't cover, tackle, has poor instincts, overpursues, limited football IQ, etc. Really bad and is not performing up to his draft status and he's from a high-profile school in the SEC where he was a full-time safety for a few years and should be much further along than he is. We need a better secondary coach or we need to do something about Elam because he has not improved at all.

I love Flacco and crew. Nothing bad to say about the offense. WRs still not catching balls consistently. Jones still can't catch. Torrey isn't as bad as people say but he's not a tough player. Smith Sr is great. Sucks to lose Pitta. Juszczyk looks very promising. Can't wait to see more from LT.

The defense is a disgrace.  Brian Hoyer looked like Peyton Manning for most of the game.  There are no legitimate excuses for Pees, he needs to go.

Defense was terrible today for a significant portion of the game.  Elam looked absolutely lost in the secondary.  Webb doesn't look healthy.  We need a true FS back there.  Our 4 man rush wasn't generating any pressure either.

We also can't seem to tackle.

I feel awful for Pitta, too.  My heart sank when I saw that play.  Hopefully he's able to return at some point, but I'd understand if he called it a career if it's as bad as some are expecting.

Are...are you serious? This is the FIRST game he has actually played bad. He was our DMVP last week.  Or Atleast up there

Webb looked very stiff out there early on. Elam might want to burn this game tape. It's ridiculous for a safety to fall for double moves on plays that he is not in man coverage and to not touch a downed opponent this isn't college football. This game looked like Elam vs the Vikings in the snow.

Both asa jackson and Chykie Brown can't cover shifty slot WRs. Oh how I miss Corey Graham. As bad as the Secondary played Brooks should be seeing PT.

Elam is not being used right. He's an in-the-box safety who shouldn't be covering slot receivers. But credit the Browns for calling a great game on offense. Our passing D looks bad - wide open players all over the field.

The offense is pretty good though.

Matt Elam was the Ravens defensive MVP in 2013? According to who? I would say that award should have been given to either Daryl or Jimmy Smith...

I mean't last week , 10 tkls and various key coverages and run sniffs. , I changed it.

Pees had an absolutely horrid gameplan. I don't have a problem with zone coverage, but I could count the number of snaps we played in man on one hand.

Kubiak had an eh game. Went away from the run when it was working, and his routes were eh. Calling screens on 2nd and 16 was a poor call.

Defense needs to learn to tackle, mainly the secondary.

Dlinemen weren't playing smart this game. Lot of blown gaps and stuff like that.

Elam had a bad game.

WRs made plays when it mattered, but 'dropped the ball' too much.

Oline looked except Monroe, who looked a lot like Mike Oher today. Zuttah had some putrid moments.

Does Torrey not want to be on this team anymore? Because he plays like it.

No, Torrey had a potential TD on the play where Gilbert grabbed his facemask, and I think he was the one open deep on the INT.

On the defensive side: just make Pees walk home and then we can evaluate the players fairly. Elam was bad, but he is playing out of his natural position.

Offensive side: sorry Torrey. No big contract for you. Jacoby is making me sorry we resigned him. Needs to step it up.

Defense got worked over, specifically Elam. Was playing with no effort and was a detriment. Pees defense only works if we're getting turnovers and today we didn't do much well.

Lots of drops on the day, Torrey, Smith Sr (who atoned), and Jacoby.

Redzone and short-yardage offense needs to be better. Got stuffed on some meaningful drives. Granted, Cleveland is a good defense but we need to make our own plays.
