Actually as long as we're winning, it isn't so tough. Doesn't really matter if we win by 1 or 25.

We aren't that team. We rarely steam roll anyone. Maybe one or two games a year. The year we won the SB I think we only did it to the Giants. (without looking. Might have been another game)That just isn't who we are.Don't know if we're not motivated or what but the Bengals aren't all that. On one of our worst days, they barely won. Last week, the Falcons were garbage, this week they couldn't be stopped. Talking about stats from last year is insane.

Someone already mentioned the Raiders game. Wasn't that the year we crushed the Bengals on opening week? If not, then it must have been the year we destroyed the Steelers Week 1, but I thought that was the year before. Three wins by a wide margin is pretty special for us. We all should have seen the trophy coming after that.

Cam took some hits last night. Steelers ran really well also. I went to sleep before the game was over so I didn't see what worked well vs the panthers defense.

We definitely can't let Cam have as much time in the Pocket as Hoyer had today because that could. Lead to some scramble drills or broken deep pass plays. Also the defense was fooled on a few play action plays and double moves yesterday we have to clean that up in the secondary.

Cam's not nearly as mobile as people are fearing. He was a statue last night. Really disappointed in the Carolina defense, but gotta hand it to Ben, Brown, and Bell. Teams that don't play Pitt regularly inevitably fail to account for Ben's streetball.

We'll likely have our hands full. Our offense has to play well.

The problem is that when a team looks like trash the week before facing us, they tend to turn it on for our game. I don't know how it works and how much of it's our fault, but it's up there with death, taxes and the Browns finding ways to screw themselves in the draft.

And as with the guy above, I have a lot of respect for the Packers fans I know. Passionate people without being flogs about it (hello San Francisco).

I've said this numerous times as well!  Teams that lose prior to playing us always seem to get geared and jacked up for the Ravens and the Ravens never seem to come out from the beginning and match their intensity!

I think the Ravens will be fine. They are a great football team and us Packer fans will be rooting for ya to take Carolina down. Plus they are a big NFC foe that will give us a threat.

I don't care what Arthur Brown has on the Ravens team, if he saw the Rice tape and didn't tell anyone, etc. He NEEDS to be in this game.. He's the best LB to cover Olsen from what I've seen outside of Courtney Upshaw, for one. Second, he will help spy Newton with his speed. We need him in there. He could even be an effective blitzer up the middle as well.

Spy on Newton on the sideline maybe he could barely get out of his own way last night...they wont risk him against the Ravens D ...get ready for Anderson

I absolutely love that matchup too. If Pee's allows Jimmy to just shadow KB all day in man coverage Jimmy will dominate that matchup. If that were the case, and considering their RB's are all banged up and so is Cam we will be just fine.

Yep, but he'll be in "man coverage", 10 yards off.  LOL

I fully agree....there is something about our team that makes opponents give us their "A" game. Hoyer was more accurate yesterday than he has ever been, almost Aaron Rogers like.

He tries to build the team through the draft all the time. We need to go after guys in free agency. Thompson never does that. You guys know from past experience that our defense is bad when you have played us.

I have no problem with building through the draft, but at the same time, you need an influx of veteran leadership as well. Just out of curiosity, how much cap space did you guys have before free agency started?

the draft is a lottery

id rather get a player who i know is the real deal then a mystery. id trade a first round pick for a very good player and day of the week

Except in a salary cap league, the costs aren't the same, which is why teams don't do that. A rookie with a $2M cap number might very well have more value to a team than a veteran with an $8M cap number, even if the veteran is a better player.

That's why teams that do those very things are teams that are in "win-now" mode, meaning they know that doing such a move is a short-term fix to a long-term problem, and that continously making those decisions is not sustainable for long-term success in the NFL.

I dunno how the Steelers made this team look so damn silly last night.  It boggles my mind!  The Panthers barely edged out an ATROCIOUS Bucs team, but it was on the road and they still walked out with the win.  Then they beat a pretty good Lions team, albeit that was at home and we don't know how good the Lions are going to be on the road.  But to just get STOMPED by the Steelers, at home, that was very surprising to me.

I can't help but feel nervous about how PO'd they'll be coming into Baltimore, looking for a bounce back.

I hope we are able to dismantle them like the Steelers did, though.  It'll be disappointing if we can't eke out a win at home against a team that the Steelers can handle that easily on the road.

i thought the panthers would beat the squealers last night but Cam looks either hurt or uninterested. stewart got hurt last night and he was subbing for williams at RB so i'm not sure what thier running game will look like. i was suprised about thier defense. i thought they would dominate pitt but they looked pretty beatable.

Cam Newton just does not look like a good leader. i've never seen a pro athlete sulk like he does.

I kind of wish Cam looked a little better (and also beat the Steelers).  It's hard to say who will start against the Ravens Newton or Anderson.  Cam sure took a beating from the little I saw of the game.

And what happens if that player gets injured for the season?  Then you've lost your 1st round pick for next year

You could say the same thing about the player you draft.

But at least I'd still have a first round pick.  Look at the RG3 situation and their loss of a first rounder for this year

Cam is hurt, OL is AWFUL, and defense was gashed for 150 yards a game before Steeler game. Ravens should win easily. They are a mess, plus RBs are hurt. When Cam can't run they have no offense.

According to the latest injury report Carolina doesn't even have one healthy RB

Maybe I've just been conditioned to be negative about these games, but this is really starting to feel like an "Admiral Ackbar" game.

If we were coming off of an easy blowout game then I would agree but I think we'll be ready.

Cincy hasn't faced a real foe yet. Let's face it - we played perhaps the worst team first half I've seen in quite a few years and still had a chance to tie that game. Ridiculous. And that is us not playing up to our potential.

Cincy is very beatable. Their schedule is about to show just how beatable.

They still have to play NE, Denver, Colts and Saints. I could see them losing all of those except possibly the Saints game.

Steelers are 4-2 against the Bengals in our last three seasons with mediocre teams...including a win last year. I expect we will hang one L on them again this year.

Our secondary will win this one. It's time for some guys to step up!

I would like to see the offense open up a can of worms and build some momentum for the rest of the season. What we did last week + more passing yards would be great.

If we choose to fix our secondary issues, then I'd be more likely to change my mind. But Cincy has looked absolutely dominant against all of their opponents so far. I think they take another AFC North title this year unfortunately. I hate to say it, but looking at the way things are now, that's the line I'd bet.

Really? After 3 games? Their unbeatable now? And everyone wanted tyrod after the Denver loss. It's September. If Tennessee picks off that air ball to dalton and runs it back for a TD who knows what happens. The bengals are a good team but far from unbeatable.

Steve smith is not going to allow that in this case. Carolina is a better team than they showed last night. But I expect the ravens to come with their A game this week. Especially on offense.

Our OLB and secondary really need to pick up the slack.

I have faith it'll pick up. But my patience is getting really thin watching these past 3games..

Show me where I said the word "unbeatable" plz.
