All I know is LOL @ throwing to TEs in this game. Not sure I would risk that too much since you know Kuechly will be in his pocket. whether it's Daniels or whoever. We need to target their CBs because that is their weakness and could possibly be our strength with Brown, Thompson (If re-signed), Jones (If he can catch), Torrey (If he separates) and Smith Sr (who will kill them or be a decoy). Smith Sr either has a great game or he gets shut down, but if they shut him down that will open up other WRs, no doubt about it. I'd like to see some Campanaro in the game as well, but I doubt it.

It's going to be tough running the ball on this front for sure. Steve smith is going to be a real difference maker. They have no one who can shut him down.

On defense Suggs vs Byron bell is a match up we should dominate. Jimmy smith should own Benjamin. Olsen is by far their biggest threat.

21-13 close win.

Let's be honest: we'll probably see Elam running with Benjamin or Chykie Brown while Jimmy Smith plays against Avant or something. Or Smith is on Benjamin and Avant looks like Reggie Wayne with Chykie Brown and Matt Elam on him in coverage. Lol. And Arthur Brown will probably keep the bench warm while Mosley continues to look like a rookie (a good one) covering Olsen, or Daryl Smith is in coverage and makes a tackle after Olsen makes the catch. SMH.

Despite the short comming of our secondary the only weapon on the Panthers that scares me is Greg Olsen.

But on Defense, lets not forget that the last time we played Kuechly he ...well.. Destroyed us.

Can't wait to see the Steelers lose so I can build a scouting report of sorts.

When did the Ravens face Kuechly?

You mean preseason when we still had Caldwell, no Pitta, no Boldin, and a terrible offensive line?

Well, we don't have Boldin or Pitta atm...so...yeah.

But it was preseason. Not like that's a game we game planned for or anything. Doesn't really count. We had a different OL, too.

We have Steve Smith, Daniels, and Juice at least. We had Torrey and................ yeah, back then

The D should do ok keeping them to mostly fiekd goals. Our offense is far superior. They are going to carry this team this year.

No doubt. We had Juszczyk last year but he has really grown.

I think we can replace Pitta by using Juszczyk, Marlon Brown, possibly Kamar Aiken, could call up a guy from the PS as well. I suspect more WR sets.

Indeed. The defense is a weak link at the moment.

They look awful tonight, which of course means they'll look fantastic next week.

Took the words right out of my mouth. It just seems inevitable too.

I was thinking the same thing!

Well right now I think even our secondary can handle the Panthers. Not looking too good out there.

You think? Lol. Chykie Brown will probably make the Avant look like Julio Jones.

Don't let that fool you!  Cause they'll come into M&T Bank Stadium and be pro-bowl receivers.  Every team seems to get up for playing the Ravens and the Ravens don't seem to match their intensity.  Except for when they play the steelers.

You could be right. They might be saving it all up for Smith Sr since he's been smack talking them since TC.

My main issue with our Ravens is that they are too inconsistent for me to make any claims of them "beating," "blowing out" "smashing" or "destroying" ANY team ravensdfan!  I hate feeling like this but their gameplay leaves me no choice UNTIL they play otherwise from week to week.

I think Juice and Daniels will be adequate as long as neither gets injured

That's like saying we had a different QB in 2007. :P

We can beat this team pretty easily IMO

If the Panthers team that is playing tonight shows up then yes. I think this panthers team will be better next week; to what  extent I don't know.

I don't care what Arthur Brown has on the Ravens team, if he saw the Rice tape and didn't tell anyone, etc. He NEEDS to be in this game.. He's the best LB to cover Olsen from what I've seen outside of Courtney Upshaw, for one. Second, he will help spy Newton with his speed. We need him in there. He could even be an effective blitzer up the middle as well.

What if that Ravens team that played earlier shows up.  Then what?

Still good enough to beat tonights Panthers team. They look awful tonight. Getting beat easily by a pretty average team in their own stadium.
