Week 16 Tracker

-Miami defeated Kansas City.

-New England has demolished Arizona.

-New York is up 7-3 on Seattle.

With New England winning today, next week's Jacksonville game is do or die for Baltimore. Should we beat the Jags at home, we're in.

If New York wins today, then the winner of the Dolphins/Jets game next week will play us in round one. Let's hope for Miami.

There is a scenario where we play the Patriots, but it would take the Jets losing today and next week.

I think Matt Cassel is grossly overrated, but going into Miami is the easiest possible scenario here. Let's hope the Dolphins pull out the game next week.

Jets/Pats/Fins - bring it on. After dem Cowboys, I'd like to play the Jets and send J.E.T.S. Brett Brett Brett packing for a final game.

Doesn't look good for the Squeelers, 2 mins change down by 2 scores. Can their luck prevail again?

Update Pitt is going into melt down...Hah pick six seals the deal!

I guess I'll be rooting for the Dolphins the next two weeks. I don't want to play the Patriots. No matter what Dolphins won't take our 6th seed. Only Jets and Patriots can threaten our chances. I'd also prefer playing the Jets over the Patriots.

Go Dolphins!!!

It looks like we're going to get another shot at Pittsburgh in the second round.

you cant be fith seed

colts are 11-4

you are 10-5

best case you would both be 11-5

they have the head to head

#1 & #2 get bye's. #3 (Miami/New York) plays #6 (Baltimore) and the winner plays #2 (Pittsburgh).

Unfortunately we cannot, the Colts beat us head to head.

Except that it decides who we'll be facing in the playoffs.

Wild Card can only be 5th or 6th. This will probably be revisited at sometime if the west keeps on sucking.

I'm not sure how I feel about going into Pittsburgh should we get that far Although we can clearly beat both Tennessee and Pittsburgh, I'd rather have faced the Titans.

I'm not sure I'd count out Favre yet. Nevermind turnover on downs within the redzone. 2 minutes left.

I kind of want the Jets to win this. If they lose today and then somehow win next week, we'll have to go into New England and face the Pats.

First we we have to take care of Jacksonville, then...

if we win in the wild card round over the afc east champ, then we would have to go to tennessee in the divisional round. Assuming the colts beat the afc west team in the wild card round, they will go to pittsburgh divisional round.

So the latest we can play pitt is the AFC championship, if they are still around.

Playing a playoff game in Miami in 70 degree weather would be odd. ;)

The winner between the 3rd and 6th seed doesn't automatically play the 2nd seed in the playoffs. No matter what the 1st seed always play the lower seed. So if the 6th seed beat the 3rd, then the 6th seed would play the 1st seed, which in this case the 1st seed would be Tennessee. If the 3rd seed beat the 6th, then the 3rd seed would play the 2nd seed, which is Pittsburgh. It's been this way for years, unless the NFL changed the seeding process this past off season, which i haven't heard anything about. So basically, if the ravens get the 6th seed and beat who ever the 3rd seed is, the ravens would get the Titans in the 2nd round, not the Steelers.
