First Raven's game!

Unfortunately, I moved away from Baltimore before I could attend a Raven's game (back in 98).  I've been stationed entirely too far away for the last 10 years to be able to make it to a game, but now I'm finally close enough. 

I've never tailgated.  I've never been to an NFL game (unless you count the Pro Bowl, but I don't.).

So I'm not quite sure what the etiquette is, as far as arriving early to the stadium and joining in at the parking lot party.  Any advice?

The easiest party to join is on Fan Walk between the two stadiums. There is live music, plenty of food and drinks available for sale, and thousands of partying fans. If you want to drive to the stadium, be aware that many of the tailgating lots are by permit only. Those available for single games fill up fast and you'll need to arrive about 5 hours before the game.

I'll be coming in from Virginia.  Not sure where we are getting a hotel at yet.  But we are hopefully going to be within walking distance of the stadium.  What time do the festivities usually start up? Live music and such...
