Week 3 Discussion (Other Teams)

My goodness, here we are at week three of the 2014 NFL Season. Slow down, we are all trying to enjoy you, before we know it the Super Bowl will be here. Week 2 saw possibily the end of the RG3 era and beginning of the Kirk Cousins era in Washington. a Cleveland upset over the Saints, The defending Champion Seahawks are back down to earth, and the Tom Coughlin/Eli Manning era in NY is slowly dying.

Key Games:

Redskins @ Eagles: Not sure how much longer the Eagles can afford to skip the first half and only show up for the second half. I originally was going to think Eagles but Kirk Cousins has me thinking elsewhere. Can Cousins lead Washington to a NFC East Title and back to the playoffs?

Cowboys @ Rams: Michael Sam, Michael Sam, Michael Sam... that is all.

Vikings @ Saints: Saints are surprisingly 0-2, can they break out of their slump against a AP-less Vikings?

Colts @ Jaguars: Raise your hand if you thought the Colts and Jaguars would BOTH be 0-2 heading into this game? Exactly.

49ers @ Cardinals: Both Seattle and San Fran are 1-1, Arizona is the lone 2-0 team atop the NFC West. If the Cardinals can beat the 49ers, it will go a long way toward winning the West.

AFC North Related:

Titans @ Bengals: Bengals D against Jake Locker? Seems like an easy win but nobody saw the Colts or Saints starting out 0-2 so who knows.

Steelers @ Panthers: The Panthers exposed the Lions for who they were, which was a team playing a very bad Giants team. Steelers coming off that big loss to us, will look for redemption but who would have thought the Panthers would be 2-0 after losing Steve Smith and Jordan Gross in the off-season?

The Panthers D is the real deal. Pittsburgh has gone 6 quarters without a TD. They may make it 10 going down to Charlotte.

I don't think the eagles are that good. Their division is bad. But they can't even slow down another bad team the colts bad running game. Two bad teams that could win divisions full of bad teams. Watch out for Houston though. Saints will absolutely blow out the Vikings at home. Both bengals and steeler games are coin flips. Could be an interesting Sunday.

I'd add San Diego vs Buffalo as a key game. Buffalo trying is trying to separate themselves from the pack in their division (they're at the top of it right now, at 2-0), while San Diego is trying to keep up with the Broncos (they're the only team in that division that has a shot at unseating the Broncos right now).

As a side note, I'll be rooting for the Bills for the rest of the season since I'd love to see them knock the Patriots off and win that division.

But that fluidity and rhythm that Atlanta just had is something ive never seen our Offense have. That right there was sexy.fast.fluid. albeit against a bad defense but still

McCown is terrible.Buccaneers might be getting that top draft pick. I originally selected them as the worst team in football but I thought they would do better with a good OL and a good RB but man...they suck.

And now we have a pick-6. Wow. McCown just isn't a guy you can build a franchise around.

I don't understand how they are getting that much pressure with Atlanta's DL. They have some good guys but they're not that good. Additionally, the Buccaneers have some decent players on that OL.
