Iron On Patches for Nike Game Jerseys

Hey everyone, I have a Nike Game (screen print numbers) Ray Lewis jersey and was thinking about getting an iron on Super Bowl 35 patch I saw on ebay. I know these jerseys aren't meant to be ironed, but wanted to see if anyone's every had any experiences with iron on patches on jerseys first.

I'm pretty sure the jersey would melt. I suggest you buy fabric glue ( available at any large craft store) and use that to apply the patch.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I found a few people on youtube ironing on patches to Soccer jerseys but I know the materials are all different. 

 

Thanks for the tip, definitely don't want to ruin that jersey.
