Cutbacks

They are killing us.  Probably the only negative take away from the Steelers game.  I think a large part may be due to the push our D-line is getting.  They are playing outstanding against the run.  The push they are getting however, makes us very vulnerable to cutbacks as we almost over pursue in order to make the tackle in the backfield and block his lanes.

 

Suggs Dum and/or Upshaw (I wasn't watching too closely to see who was getting caught) really need to protect that edge as it seems guys are consistently able to get around them.  

 

Overall, great defensive performance.

Yeah, a couple of times we got caught rushing inside the left tackle I noticed.

I think Pees likes to sometimes crash DEs in and have LBs loop outside but that doesn't always work.

End arounds were a bit of a problem as well. Have to get the edges locked up a bit better
