Their offense turned it on last week in 2nd half. If they can score 27on half game, they can do some damage. This will be a hard game.

But they were playing the Steelers, and they have played a really crappy 6 qtrs. as NFLN stated....  I'm not so sure it was that crappy.  I think it was just that they are getting better and better....  We need to play this one seriously.  Really seriously.

Stay stout against the run and get traction with our own running game and we'll be all set. They have some good CBs over there, our WRs need to bring it.

We. Will. Destroy. Them.

Close thread.

I'm pretty amazed you were able to start a thread at 11:30 last night.   :P

Hopefully our Goal Line offense (specifically our running plays) gets fixed... we should've really blown out the Squealers.

If we didn't have that false start on the goal line Flacco had that TD. We also could've challenged that Forsett run as i think the last replay showed he just got in the endzone.

I like this. I feel like the Ray Rice issue has give us inspiration instead of desperation. I think this brought a weakened locker room together and I actually see the passion out there on the field again, which we missed since we lost Lewis. I have to say, if we play like this every week we will make the playoffs and likely win this division.

I agree we found something the entire team could rally behind. I don't think we're neccessarily playing for Ray. i think we're playing for our name and have that world against us mantra that i think was a little lost last year.

Hoyer gets a stinger, Manziel comes in, BREAKING NEWS on CNN, Fox News, ESPN and NFLN.

Manziel has hit the field!!! 5 minutes later Manziel is eating dirt with a gang of purple covering him

It's an AFCN division game and can't be taken for granted.  Let's see this new O take it to the road and become even more efficient.

It sounds like Cameron's shoulder isn't OK. Browns already signed a TE and are working out Davis. Their offense will be all about rushing, we shouldn't be surprised if we see Manziel taking the field out of Browns desperation.

They need to start using LT more in goal line situations because he's more of power back than any of our runningbacks.

Just cause the Ravens won last night that doesn't mean that they don't have work to do.  They do!  They were in the redzone 3 times and came away with 3 FG's instead of TD's...that's troubling to me!  Plus, we really don't know what type of "road" team they are yet.  I picked the Ravens to beat the steelers...24-10.  Got close!  So, I'll say...

Ravens 13, browns 10

We need to take it to the Brownies in their House. The win at Home versus the Steelers was great for us - salved over a lot of open wounds and helped to calm a crazy week but ....we need to prove we are a dominant force in this Division.

30 - 9 Ravens.

I like to beat the browns badly more than any other team I always what to see them lose and scrape the bottom of the barrel because of all the nonsense with model bringing the team here.

Actual game plan I think their strength is the run game but we should be able to stack the box and mug Austin and Hawkins easily. Without Cameron if he is out they have no ability to stretch the field. I see the browns scoring 9.

I have a feeling the offense will grind it out and run the ball A lot. Probably not take enough chances here. I see us putting up just enough against a bad team 16.

If Kubiak surprises me and keeps the pressure on and attacks their secondary I could get the blowout win. This team is capable if putting up 35 on them even with a slower paced game. But I would be pleasantly surprised with this game plan.

One good thing is that Asa should make it back with 10 days till the next game. If Webb could finally make it back, we could for the first time this season actually have all of our CBs in one game. Now that would be nice. Our O-line and D-line need to show up again this game like against the Steelers. If they do that, we win this one.

After going over the Browns-Steelers tape, I like how we match up.

Their defence looked vulnerable to some of the staple Kubiak plays - roll-outs, bootlegs and play-action passes. If we can set up the run early, I like our chances of sucking in their LBs and helping guys like Pitta get a step on the coverage. Stalled drives won't be something to get worried about early on imo, as long as the chains actually move a bit. Another favourite matchup should be Justin Forsett as a receiver if we can use him to sneak out of the backfield or provide the easy checkdown.

When they have the ball, I think we all know the drill. Stuff the run (which I back us to do now that Cleveland shouldn't take anyone by surprise) and let our LBs do their job. We've essentially got Jimmy taking out one weapon on every play, so we need to focus on the short passing game. Elam, CJ, Daryl Smith and hopefully Arthur Brown need to control the field up to 10 yards behind the LOS, and there's no reason they can't imo.

That said, this still has the makings of a trap game. Too much is going right for us so far and this is the kind of game where teams have let-down performances. The Browns will still play us tough, so we need to treat this as seriously as a Steelers game. Like I say, I hope Harbaugh shows last year's loss at least once this week.

I like the way we match up with the Browns defensively. But no doubt in my mind that they try to run those end arounds and screens with Hawkins.

We should be able to shut down their power run game. Hopefully Joe and company show up offensively.
