Next up: Browns

Couple extra days to prepare & rest. Hopefully we don't play down to them coming off an emotional win.

I hope we carry that same fire and intensity on the field with us that we did tonight! First road game, let's do it.

I like this. I feel like the Ray Rice issue has give us inspiration instead of desperation. I think this brought a weakened locker room together and I actually see the passion out there on the field again, which we missed since we lost Lewis. I have to say, if we play like this every week we will make the playoffs and likely win this division.

We needed that win, after our week we needed that. I did not think Forsett would be that huge of an addition when we signed him but he is playing better than I expected. Glad we have him.

Let's just hope we don't do to Cleveland what we did to Pittsburgh.. we injured their starting QB beginning the Big Ben era, let's hope we don't end up starting the Johnny Football era in Cleveland.

I know everyone is excited about the win, but two things to thing about in concerns to this game. The Browns always plays the Ravens tough and this will be the first road test for the Ravens. On the road you have to pack a strong Defense and Running game. Both had disappeared on us at times in the past, but from what I've seen so far this season, I don't think it should be a issue.

It'll be a tough division game. Don't just overlook it because they are the Browns. I think we can win and it will be a good game. Hope to see Webb out there.

We. Will. Destroy. Them.

Close thread.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. While I loved the beating we gave to the Steelers, we haven't been a great team on the road. Hopefully this changes with Kubiak calling the plays. And the Browns tend to play us tough so I gotta see it to believe it.

The Browns have Hoyer and Manziel at QB, a suspended Josh Gordon, Miles Austin and Andrew Hawkins, a really nice OL and a freaking nice TE who will kill us if we decide to inevitably leave Arthur Brown inactive again. The Browns defense is legit, though. Dansby, Kruger Mingo make a nice LB corps. I really like their DTs as well. That's not even including their secondary with Hitner, Haden, and Skrine. Their secondary is pretty decent. I like Jimmy better than Haden but Haden is a talented guy.

I'm still not too worried about the Browns, though, even in Cleveland.

the problem with the ravens is that they always play down to the level of the competition, i hope they have stopped that and beat the crab out of the brownies.

They beat us with Jason Campbell last year and we made him look like a stud. I really like the matchup, but I just need to see how the team travels. We've been iffy on the road the past 2 years.

Yeah...I forgot about that one. Can't blame me, though. Lol.

Hopefully those ghosts are behind us.

Not sure how serious but Jordan their tight end is injured. Leaving them with just Hawkins and Austin.

All Browns games have been close but our Offensive Line gives me so much more confidence in our offense going in to these games than years past. if the run game isnt working, we can fall back on the pass and vice versa. so many more options to choose from when you can block.

All though we've had let downs after big games in the past - This is not your daddy's Ravens! I strongly believe that they will get it done against the Browns. They have finally found their own identity.

52+1 GO Ravens!!!

Ravens have a history of playing badly coming off of a big win, hopefully we remember what happened in Cleveland last year and make sure that it doesn't happen again.

If I'm Coach Harbaugh I'm showing that game from last year in the film room this week. I remember that Campbell play to ice it last year, scrambling on the 4th and 6 and throwing a first down on the run. That play was actually the worst I felt last season. That day I broke up with my girlfriend at the time and I bombed a job interview, but that play was still the worst part of my day. The North remembers.

I like our chances if we can stop Hawkins and Cameron, but I don't want to feel too confident going in. This has the makings of a trap game. If Pierce can keep improving and Kubiak devises a couple of new red zone plays, I'll feel a lot more settled.

Gotta be a homer and go with the Ravens though. I think our offence is a lot more consistent this year.

Than that's a good thing, because after their lost last year, they recognize that the Browns are not a team to take lightly.  They've got the tape of them making that comeback on the Steelers. Hopefully their mindset is to "Get the lead and seal the game away!".

Ugh, I hate that this is so true!
