Week 2 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

That's not that evident. If the wasn't advertised as the guy who's gonna catch and catch and catch - if he didn't say "if you throw me a ball that's catchable, I'm gonna catch it", if he wasn't promised to be the guy who brings back consistence to out receiving corps - then surely. He was very good in the second half, and that TD catch - especially the YAC part - was truly insane. But nobody knows how the game would have gone if he caught those rather catchable key passes in the first half...

 

Also, he came to be a key guy. And one good half isn't exactly enough from key guys. Yep, I expect him to be a fearsome weapon for 4 quarters.

I just want to watch football and no soap opera. Ray Rice is not on the team anymore. He hasn't played a regular season game since the incident took place. Leave the Ravens out of it.

I really don't have any idea how the team is going to respond on the field. We could rally together and play well or allow the events of this past week be a distraction and play poorly. I don't even know if the coaching staff has a sense of what to expect. I wonder too if any of this will have an effect on our opponent. Will they smell blood and come after us even harder or will they have some potential to be similarly distracted?

 

It is easy to talk about being a professional and having a job to attend to, but players are also human. I'm very anxious, because speaking from a fan's perspective, we could really use the win.

Yea, I'm hoping to turn on the TV and watch some actual football tonight.  But who knows, maybe the game will get cancelled and there'll be an actual on-field debate instead.

I am excited to see our reformed o-line manhandle the steelers tonight.  Osemele will have Cam Heyward's number all night.  Also, we'll get to finally see who can play better: Mosely or Shazier.  Should be a good game.

Raven's will make a statement on the field tonight.  It won't be as big as beating Seattle or Denver might be, but this is where the Ravens could set the tone for the rest of the season.
