We are also looking to trade Antwan Bowling?  That is insanity!  Anything short of a 1st rounder for Bolding whould be a disaster to our widout corps.

Why is there such a fetish with CB depth with you guys? They got a little banged up, and now you guys act like it's this big hole. Asa and Brown will be fine covering team's 3rd WR's.

Yeah, they looked great on Sunday. It's not like they made Andy Dalton look like Peyton or something

Are you being sincere or sarcastic because Andy didn't look all that great?

I always believe in the greater of the team, we have personnel we have depth, why are we so attached, realistically what can we get maybe a second and a player we will not get a star player, but a good player who has upside,if brown was that good he would not have been deactivated Sunday, good players play or coaches get fired,

Webb likely not playing againThursday. Listed as

questionable. Banking on Webb playing this year or playing well or for long is risky.

Webb was held out against Cinci because of game-speed conditioning issues, not injury. It was a coaches decision.

What exactly is the deal with Arthur Brown? Is he in Harbs "DogHouse"?? Did he get Worse from last year?? Does he not have ANY skills our coaches can work with to get him better?? I mean he did get playing time last year. This is really weird. I want some answers. 2nd Round high pick. He mustve pissed off somebody

I didn't believe the rumors at all to start, but I can't think of any other explanations for this anymore. I think if he does go it will be for another player because I doubt we get anything higher than a conditional 4th for him, which would be a terrible trade.

He's gonna die in like... six days or something...

I think he was referring to the elevator tape, but good reply, nonetheless.

Do we really know anything right now? The season's only going to week two and nothing seems to make sense. Oh well, Go Ravens!!! Whatever comes to pass!!

I really dislike the idea of trading him, though. Daryl Smith is a bit inconsistent and at times, Mosley is looking better than Smith. I think Arthur could challenge Daryl as soon as next year, and easily rotate this year. It seems stupid to trade him. I can't imagine we would even get that much. It's like a car. Once you drive it off the lot, it usually depreciates.

Yeah, I really hope Harbs addresses why Brown has been scratched again. Starting to piss me off.

Agreed. He needs to at least explain it. I'd like an answer somehow. I'm starting to hope Orr or Smith get hurt just so I can see him play.

His inactivity could be a few things:

1. Limited ST value

2. Depth at ILB (Smith and Mosley never leave the field)

3. Trade block / doghouse

I ranked these in my personal opinion of 'likelihood'

Anyone find anything? I only managed to watch a couple mins of Harbs press conference last night. Don't know if he commented on it.

Find it hard to to imagine a LB with Brown's build and speed isn't a good STer.  His body is like perfect for it and its really not hard to figure out your coverage lanes.

Not going to make any judgements about that but I didn't see him much on ST in the preseason. Orr and McClellan made the team doing ST work and have been active.

That's just a weird bubble for Arthur Brown to be in, though. He has limited special teams value (which is why McClellan and Orr are active); but, at the same time, if Daryl Smith or C.J. Mosley were to go down, then what? Art Brown is just on the sidelines in street clothes.

I understand a team can only suit 46 players; but, there is something "fishy" about this Arthur Brown situation, still...

this is what i keep saying,,, something is up,he is too good and vital if somebody goes down,,TO be on the sideline

Guess the Ravens feel good enough about the ILBs they have suited up and the tradeoff between Brown sitting on the bench until an injury and the value they get on ST from McClellan and Orr.

I think teams are loking to trade fr him and the Ravens are entertaining those offers. They don't want him to get hurt in the interim and will only trade him for the right deal. We have him as insurance if Mosely or Smith goes down I believe Brown is next in line. i think he's only inactive due to not wanting him to get hurt as they are fielding trade offers. If the Ravens decide not to trade him i think he'll get on the field. This may be why we put Orr on the roster because we knew we'd trade Brown.
