Arthur Brown Trade Rumors

458 posts in this topic

I'd be irate if we traded Brown unless we got an extremely high ceiling player.  Brown can play and he's going to play well for the next 6-8 years.  He is what the new ILB is.  Small, quick and knifes to the ball and his strength is in pass coverage.  He's only going to get better.

Floyd would be yum. I like those corners in Atlanta too.

I'd trade Brown & a high pick for Trufant

Wish it was like fantasy sometimes lol

"Arthur Brown told me he was aware of trade rumors, says Ravens told him he's not on the trading block. Said he was flattered a bit." - Just twitted by Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider

Good to hear though.

bowlden

are we talking in terms of strictly phonetically transcribing his name? because how you say boldin is subjective to what part of the country youre from and therefore, will yield a different phonetic translation haha

@RavensInsider: Sources indicate Ravens linebacker Arthur Brown extremely unlikely to be traded, but he's a popular target for teams because of his talent

Well then... they should have traded ahead of us in the draft to get him if they wanted him that badly. Their fault and now they are trying to compensate for it.

Well they packers want him so Brown for Lacy straight up

Or we could trade them Brown for CB Casey Hayward. Give us some corner depth. Which I think if we do a trade for anyone it would be for corner depth.

Not sure why I've seen getting a WR suggested so many times lol. We got the Smith's starting, Jacoby got brought back for 4 years this past offseason, and Brown is the #4. Plus Kamar Aiken looked good, and we got Camp and Thompson waiting for a shot. I don't see that as a position of need. Definitely wouldn't mind a CB though.

you guys do realize we now need a big block buster player??? ray rice was that guy... every team has that guy... you can say it's pitta, smith, err flacco... ray rice was our gronk, our demarius thomas, our adrian peterson, our matt forte... if we trade Arthur Brown it is going to be to sell jerseys and fill a position of need.

I would take that trade every day and twice on Sunday. Lacy would be exactly what we need. A bruiser with great moves coupled up with a bigger bruiser in Taliafero

I hope Arthur Brown plays against the Steelers and looks like a boss and beats Smith out of his job. You know, he drinks his milkshake. He drinks it up! Not sure if anyone has seen There Will Be Blood, but yeah...

I feel like Arthur Brown will be a great LB for this team, and I really hope we don't get rid of him as speculated. Nothing wrong with terrific depth and combined with Smith's age and recent injury with the Jaguars, you just never know. Not all LBs are like Ray Lewis or London Fletcher.

lol a lot of other fans would want this apparently. Packers, Chiefs, Bears, and Titans fans all seemed excited, especially Packers fans.

Give us Rodgers and Jordy and we'll call it a deal.

Hmm, Flacco lining up at receiver for a perfectly placed pass from Rodgers? I could dig it.

I didn't see that many perfectly placed passes from Rodgers against the Seahawks and to be honest, he had more than enough time in the pocket to deliver accurate throws. Man, the Packers should start Tyrod, yo.

Ravens are shopping for a CB, trust me.  Webb may not play this year and if he does, not sure how long he will last in the season..  He is kinda in the Lee Evans injury territory. Ravens can't rest thier season on his health. If Chykie is your starting CB all year, the season is wasted.

Hahahah Bears fans actually think they can get him for a 6th  I'd be very surprised if we ended up trading him. He's part of our future and I doubt a team is willing to pay what we value him at.

no way. Guy will be out of the league in a few years. Two concussions in 1 yr and 1 game.

Where did you get that information? Webbie said his back is good and just needs Harbs approval to get back on the field. Stop making stuff up dude.

I would be headed to One Winning Drive with an ample supply of torches and pitch forks.

We are also looking to trade Antwan Bowling?  That is insanity!  Anything short of a 1st rounder for Bolding whould be a disaster to our widout corps.
