Good Read

In case anyone is wondering if they should bother to click the link (since the poster didn't give us a clue as to what it is about), here are the opening lines:

Ray Lewis realized what he did.

For the first time in his Hall of Fame career, he answered an open-ended question about the expectations for the 2007 Ravens by gushing about Baltimore's potentially explosive offense.

Yes, you read that correctly. Baltimore and explosive offense made the same sentence.

Lewis smiled ear to ear when I told him what he did.

The linebacker acknowledged, "Usually the fight in training camp isn't fair. We are dominant in practice against the offense. This year, it is totally different. You saw it."

Lewis was correct.

Obviously that is what I am looking to read, but every single situation presented was a best case scenario.

-Mcgahee could pick up on the offense too late to make a drastic impact.

-Steve could be plagued by injury.

-Ogden could show signs of aging.

-Clayton and Williams could end up not living up to the hybe circulating around them.

-Heap could suffer from the injuries that have nagged him his entire career.

-Defenses could pick up on Billick's play calling style with an offseason to become acclimated with it.

-Offensive line could prove to be too young.

Of course, those are all worst case scenarios, but I would not be surprised if a few of those do turn out somewhat true. My point was that everything in that article pointed out complete success towards the offense. Personally, I think that the Offense will be top 12 or so and score enough point to win double digit games with the outstanding defense.

I just want to see football also, but I cannot stand pre-season. 4 games is just asking for injuries, add on training camp and scrimmages, coaches have more than enough time to see their players. Plus, the Colts are something like 1-9 over their last 10 pre-season games, and check out what they have done recently.

As I said in another post about a fan who was complaining how they don't get to see the starter's enough after paying money for a pre-season game. 4 games is way to many!! its ridiculous when pre-season starts I get WAY to nervous for comfort.. I don't want to see any injuries and 4 games is enough to have plenty. I think we should have a MAX of maybe two. When McGahee was running about 4-5 plays in the scrim I was like NOOO that would be all we need him injured for the year against a pathetic Redskin team.

I'm just bummed that I have to take half a day off from work for a pre-season game. All of the pre-season games should be on Saturday nights.

Exactly, imagine if the orioles made the playoffs and they had a home game scheduled on a Sunday night, same time the Ravens were playing. I could not imagine the traffic in Baltimore with 125,000 ish fans trying to park in the same lots, along with Baltimore weekend traffic.
