I know what he did was horrible but he should be given the chance to do all he can to make this up to his wife and get himself the help he needs. If he truly repents, and time will tell, he should be given a second chance. As John Harbaugh said, "None of us would want to be judged by our lowest moment."

What's really funny is that it took the second tape for everybody to say what they wanted to say. All these different individuals and News outlets all coming out after the fact. Where was all this uproar when the first tape came out? That was enough for me to know that it was a bad situation. I will always appreciate Ray Rice for what he gave to the team, especially in 2012. And I also appreciate him for coming out and admitting what happened. He could have denied what really happened until this second video came out. But he didn't, he owned up to it. But.. hitting a lady is not acceptable as I'm sure it isn't most places, or it should be. So I kind of lost respect when the story first broke. I felt like maybe he could redeem himself. 

But this second video really looked bad. 

 

I hope that this isn't the last we see of Ray.. I hope he can redeem himself after this horrible event. 

He and his family deserve their privacy to work out what they need to..

This matter is beginning to corrupt our democratic ideals, among others.  Censorship has never been a good idea in a free society.  After all, it was a lack of censorship that brought the matter to our attention in the first place.  Be angry at RR all you want.  I am too.  But let's maintain some perspective and insure everyone's voice is heard, even if it's unpopular.

What I'm happy about is that Steve Biscotti admitted that we could have done more with Ray. I get heated very quickly with domestic violence because of what my mother and girlfriend had gone through. If Ray Rice legitimately wants to get better, I understand the support for him.
