I'm ready to see him replace Jacoby for a game or two.  Other than dance moves I don't see a lot of separation between these two skill-wise.

Both speed demons? Check. Both good returners? Check. Both drop passes/run bad routes? Check check check. Just a younger, cheaper version of him, IMO. I second this motion.

I actually agree. I just don't think it'll happen. It could happen next year if we have more depth like from the draft. It depends for sure. We could save 700k by cutting him next year if I'm not mistaken.

That young talent was 'rotting' because he hadn't done anything impressive in four years. Actually, I still wouldn't pick him. Let Campanaro try returning for a game. If nothing else, he's more useful to have as an active player since he might help the offense too.

I disagree. I see people are jumping on every excuse possible for the loss yesterday but i don't see why JJ is getting a lot of the blame. His game was about average considering he doesnt have much of a role on offense anymore since we have so many receivers. Thats the life of a return man, sometimes things just don't pan out when you catch the ball. I saw he had a couple fine returns, because of his great year two years ago everyone expects him to get at least a return TD per game, thats just ridiculous. He had one muffed punt but other than that we saw classic jacoby, bringing it out of the end zone is hardly something new for him, it just so happens that this time it didn't work, how about we give him more than a game? people are all over giving Pierce another shot and then turn around and want Jacoby thrown out right now

Give him a shot.  Jacoby looked terrible out there yesterday.  Poor decisions and a lack of burst on returns.  The hands have always been a question mark, so that doesn't surprise me.

I wouldn't mind packaging Jones and draft pick in a trade for a receiver.  Torrey struggled getting separation and isn't a true #1.  Aiken helped save the day as Marlon Brown and Jacoby weren't doing squat.

What do you think of Dwayne Bowe?  Coming off a suspension and isn't nearly as good as he once was but still only 29 years old. Change of scenery may do wonders for him.
