Ok, Now Just A Few Areas To Improve

6 posts in this topic

HB: The two runs at the end were great and all but a lot of it was luck, neither McGahee or McClain have good short area burst/quickness and there are far too many 1yard 2yard carries and inability to shake tacklers behind the LOS. IMO McGahee needs to drop down to 220lb and McClain to 245lb to improve their burst.

WR: Is Mason the only reciever that clicks with Flacco? what happens if hes done for the year? can Clayton step up? who else do we have?

LT: Gaither, average and didnt play with much urgency, Terry was abused in limited action

LG: Grubbs, pass protection was pretty bad at points, has trouble with rips. Cant pick up the blitz.

C: Brown, a bad game and had trouble containing Ratliff

RG: Chester, does pretty well downfield but still struggles with the bullrush

DE: Pryce, solid but gets tied up a lot. Doesnt beat his guy to often.

NT: Justin Bannan, surprised me in this game, quickest lineman off the snap. Gets blown up if doubled in the run game. Maybe switch to DT/RE?

ILB: Bart Scott, few whiffed arm tackles that could have been costly

OLB: Johnson, MIA. Some nice moves but mostly dont work. Invisible some games.

CB: Walker, too much cushion, doesnt close when he sees the ball. Hmmm.

(I'll forgive Reeds tackling, for two reasons)

KR: Figurs. God bless Leonhard.

Hey, dont get me wrong this was my favorite game this year but small mistakes have cost us before.

i thought clayton has a good solid game tonight, ran good routes and beat Newman a few times

Jared Gaither was excellent all night

Trevro Pryce gets held every play and still gets in the backfield, you also have to remember the guy is 33, but still plays well

Youve got to be kidding me! Gaither did excellent! Clayton ran good routes and was open alot! Frank did give up cushion, but didnt have a bad game. Brown didnt have a bad game except for that one sack. Grubbs didn't play as half as bad as your are saying. Can you please just enjoy the win and stop analyzing, until monday or something lol

Last year Figurs danced around way too much on returns. this year, it seems all he can do is run straight into his blockers as fast as he can. is this coaching or what? reguardless, I agree with you. Leonhard has been amazing back there. especially for a guy that doesn't have all that much speed. Figurs just seems to be a total bust. deactivate him and open up his roster spot
