Harbaugh's Doghouse hurting this team...

24 posts in this topic

Forget the poor excuses Harbaugh used for why Pierce was benched.

Someone please explain why AIKEN was getting more snaps than Marlon Brown.

You know.... Marlon Brown who has actually proven he can play in this league.  The guy who stepped up last year during injuries and was dependable every week.

Funny how Pierce had one mistake and he's benched.  Aiken has done nothing in this league, and he made a huge mistake right at the beginning of the game with a personal foul.  You'd think a rookie receiver that should be last on the depth chart would be benched for that.  But he ended up playing more snaps than Marlon Brown.  He ended up playing down the stretch in the 2nd half.

Harbaugh's simply ruining this team with his attitude towards players.  I remember Billick being excused for similar reasons at the end of his time in Baltimore.

It's time for Harbaugh to go.

Rewatch the game.. Or maybe watch the game

Brown got plenty of snaps... He's actually really easy to spot.. He wasn't getting open

Pierce getting benched and forsett coming in was the main reason that game wasn't a blow out..

Forsett outplayed Pierce by far. No matter the reason or whether or not you like it, tHarbaugh made the right call there.

Brown got plenty of PT and couldn't get any separation. Aiken did so got the targets. Aiken did well other than the penalty.

Even if it is Harbaugh's doghouse, it helped the team today rather than hurt it.

Hahahahahah ! You're the absolute best man! I applaud such logic, thanks.

Pierce deserved to sit on the bench b/c Forsett played much, much better with the snaps he got and didn't put the ball on the carpet. Also, I think its a little early to start the 'fire the coach' talk lol.

I've always liked Forsett, it just seemed that each team he was on had someone in front of him that was a little better. He's well-rounded and deserves an opportunity to show that he can be a big contributor.

Forsett easily outplayed Pierce and should start next game. Pierce's fumble was part of a multitude of mistakes that cost us this game. if we eliminate just a few we win.

the old denver broncos under shanahn proved you don't need a star running back if you ahve an effective run blocking scheme. i think any number of rb's could play for us as long as we run block well which i think we did yesterday. you just can't put the ball on the ground. if the guy from coastal carolina could guarentee not putting the ball on the ground i would rather have him running then pierce because he will get more yards after contact.

every defender is trying to strip the ball on every play. that has to be a big difference from college to the pros.

So how many drops and bad returns did Jones have, yet he still lined up as a wideout?  I wanted to see Torrey and Marlon out there together, but there was Jones again dropping another pass.  I agree, Harbaug is not HC material and needs to go.  We had organic leadership with Ray Lewis, Reed, and even Q.  Once they disappeared and it became Harbs team, mediocrity rules.  Oh, speaking of mistakes and doghouses.  How many bonehead mistakes does flacco have to make before he rides the pine?

WOW so you guys realize how pathetic this thread is?

We lost a game...against a good team and it's suddenly Harbaugh's fault because he benched ine 2nd string player over another? Get freaking real. We won a Super Bowl with the guy and have had the winningest stretch of football since 96..

Or go be a 49ers fan, because that's what you all sound like. Neg me all you want, truth hurts and i dont care.

Oh SORRY..somebody please tell John Harbaugh (who isn't the offensive coordinator) that YOU wanted to see Torrey and Marlon on the field at the same time..which they were btw..and also let's bench the Quarterback in favor of some 2nd string nobody who isn't HALF the player he is .because his receivers couldn't hold on to PERFECTLY thrown balls..that's the ticket.. let's see how many games we would win with any of you as the Head Coach..my guess is none.

The truly ironic thing is that what he's complaining about isn't at all what cost us the game.

Forsett deserved to play over Pierce but putting tali in over Pierce was somewhat of a joke.. he even dropped a pass. That was Pierce's FIRST CAREER FUMBLE.
