Hey, two years ago you Steelers fans were saying the Ravens were old because of Ray and Reed. What goes around comes around.

Let's be honest, Ravens fans and most NFL commentators have been saying the Steelers are old for three years now.

A must win.  I think we have a  shot if we can get more sacks than we did against the Bengals... we had what 0 sacks?  Not enough against a passing attack team.  Dumervil/Suggs... 2 of the best pass rushers in the NFL.  So can we please get some sacks thursday night.

You guys not getting any sacks was the most encouraging stat I saw! If Ben stays upright, we could put up some points! 

 

And the Browns walking you guys down after being down 24-3 and almost dropping you...at home...is very encouraging as well!  Cause now, they have to come to Baltimore, after all of this negative press, and with the Ravens having a serious chip on their shoulders and a "Us Against the World" mentality!  It will suck to be a steeler or steelers fan Thursday night B!

Actually, in my experience, he plays better after he's had the sense knocked out of him a few times.

I am afraid that you have hit the nail on the head. My only hope, and I AM REALLY hoping here, is that our team is so sick of the media hype behind Ray's issues and frustrated with their pathetic play from Sunday that they channel their rage and take it out on the Steelers.

We'll carry over some extra cap from this year. I bet the $4M-$5M net dead money from this Rice debalce is barely noticable when all is said and done next year.

Here's what I look at from Sunday- The Ravens were able to move the ball pretty much at will from the 3rd quarter on. Also, in the first half it wasnt as if the Bengals defense was [crap]ting us down, there were a ton of plays there that just weren't made. We ARE going to have to run the ball more this week though.

If this were any other game against a team the "quality" of the squealers, I'd be confident we win easily. But it's not and it's usually a knockdown, drag out slobberknocker. It would be a pleasant surprise though if we just smoke them and send 'em back up 68 cryin'.

This is where the Kubiak effect should come into play. The starters played all game ... some good, some bad. Now he gets to throughly analyze the game tape and make the needed adjustments after his 1st game as our OC. I'm pretty confident we'll see a dominant offensive performance vs. the Squealers

haha.....I doubt it and fully agree with dizzle. There are many other others I won't take the time to list. and to add......not sure if you saw our game but Flacco was far from being bad.  He had a couple of brain farts(as all QBs do at times), but played fine against a tough D.

 

But like I always say......pburgh could field 22 guys from the Iron City brewery and still play us tough.
