The Ravens offense is too lethargic; I'm not sure they can match the Steelers offensive intensity.

@Mili

Well I don't know about that Milli.

The Steelers failed to do anything offensively for an entire half of football as well today. They just picked the 2nd half and had a big lead.

That's my take on it from my perspective ravensdfan.  The Steelers always seems to play with a lot more crispness in the execution of their plays opposed to the Ravens that can't seem to execute theirs.  I'm just not confident in them whatsoever at this point!

I can't argue that because I'm not confident in this team as an entire unit right now.

God bless anyone who thinks we're winning this game.

Why? Steelers didn't play any better than us today against a markedly lesser opponent.

Am I confident? No. Do I think we can win? Yes.

Every team in the division looked better than us today.

So who do you hope we target with the number one pick?

Um..yeah...not so much.

Blew a 27-3 lead in the 2nd half and didn't score in the 2nd half at all until that FG in the last 5 seconds. They picked a different half and played a team not nearly as talented as the Bengals.

You're letting that W and L sway you. They really didn't play that much better than us.

I would have loved to score 27 points. You think we come back to tie like the Browns did? Flacco and the receivers didn't even look like they could tie their shoes, much less a game.

Someone actually good, considering how disappointing our drafts have been lately.

Um...they came back and took the lead. Not their fault the defense took 2 seconds to let the Bengals score.

From 24 points down? They wouldn't have been able to do that.

The Browns closed a bigger gap than the total points the Ravens scored.

And both the Browns and Steelers scored more points than the Bengals, who we know are better than at least one of them. So I guess the Bengals aren't winning next week either.

Why are you treating these games in a vacuum anyway? The Rams beat the Seahawks and the Vikings beat the Rams. Ergo, the Vikings are better than the Seahawks.

Coaches can adjust, players can get better at schemes (especially if, say, it's their first outing with it) and a million other things can happen.

I do think, that the Bengals have both, a better offense and defense, than the Browns or Steelers. If we can't score in the first half against Pitt, when Hoyer managed to put up so many points on that slow old Steelers defense, than I'll be really concerned.

To be fair, Hoyer didn't do it until the 2nd half. I guess the old and slow doesn't catch up to them until then.

I don't know. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic and say we get a close W, but we could definitely drop this one too at this rate. It was scary how much we looked like the 2013 Ravens today; practically the same team, honestly. We definitely can win this game, and it's already pretty much a must-win game. I'll say Ravens 20, Steelers 17, but anything can happen. I just hope we get our stuff together and just start going back to how we used to be.

old and slow..........explain how a defense that only has two starters over 30 and is starting two rookies and a second year player is old and slow? our defense is young and raw not old and slow

I gotta believe we play much better on Thursday night and win handily. With all of the bad that occurred in the first half of Sunday's game, we saw glimpses of what this Team can be in the second half.
