I think we can win this one, with Pittsburgh coming to town, though they are surprisingly more effective when they play us here than in Heinz. While I think the OL did well enough, they really need to work on allowing defenders to bat down passes, as thatg was a problem. I'm not sure why Joe's passes were off, but it could be because of the Bengals constantly throwing their arms up in the air and it causing enough distraction to Joe to throw him off. No excuse, but just a hunch. The Steelers don't have that kind of DL, fortunately, so I think we'll actually match-up better against them. Still, it's not comforting to lose a game at home to open the entire season at that to the Bengals, especially when we killed ourselves a lot as well with drops and the like.

Everyone on the team needs to sleep with the Jugs machine and when they're awake they all need to work on tackling. It's been bad for years and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

Probably be a close win, and it could honestly go either way.

todays game wasnt what i expected, but you cant expect with all the changed that we come out and get our W's ill take what i saw and move forward. Our running game with forsett adveraged over 4yards and run, and our passing game once on the same page picked up and went to work. we are moving in the right track and thats all i want to see

Don't look down on the steelers because they had trouble with the browns. The browns came out nowhere. Both looked far better than our dumpster fire.

21-9 Steelers.

We really need Webb back next week. If we don't then Antonio Brown is probably going to tear us apart.

honestly i think jimmy is the better of the 2 corners, hes more physical and can handle the man to man, webb is more so a zone/coverage corner, just my opinion though

This team is looking like last year's squad so far. As is the case for any .500 team, this game could go either way.

I got stuck with Houston vs Washington so I didn't get to scout the competition.  Maybe someone who saw the game could give a break down about Pitts weaknesses so far this year.

About the batted balls thing, Flacco seemed to have a lot of them during the preseason too, which seemed uncharacteristic. Most of them were at the LOS.

I think Webb is better when healthy. But regardless of who is better, I think Webb matches up with Brown much better than Jimmy does. Brown is only 5'10'' and is extremely quick and elusive. Webb covers those type of WR's more effectively. Jimmy at 6'2'' can have trouble with smaller guys.

It's very strange considering his height. It's like he gets his size mixed up with that of his receivers or something.

Yeah. I thought maybe he changed his mechanics or his angle of release... or maybe he needs to go back to those 20-step drops. lol.

Because they're trying to work the underneath. Can't throw the ball high for 6 yards.

The Bengals Dline has guys that are like 6'8

Hello everyone, I think the steelers offense is looking great. But the defense is another story.

The Score will be Steelers 34 Ravens 31

I think it'll be a little closer than that between both teams, but I do think the margin of victory will be as close as you predict. I just think (hope) our defenses (both teams) will play each other a little tougher because of who we're facing.

I just flipped a coin and it came up heads, so I'm going with the Ravens to edge this.

i would like to see that but I fear that if its a low scoring game the ravens win,,,,,,,,so im hoping our offense continues to impress

Yeah, I actually think the Ravens  will win the game. We could've won today but really shot ourselves in the foot all the way from the coaches down to the players. Really a team meltdown. But I think you'll lose next week, though I expect our anemic pass rush to continue against Beachum and Gilbert but I think our DL will be able to contain Bell, which will prompt Ben to go to the air. I expect the Ravens to win that match-up, though I'm sure Chykie will give up a play here and there and make it a close game. Hopefully Webb plays and is actually healthy enough, because we really do need him in there because our pass rush isn't generate as much pressure as I hoped.

Bell played fantastic today, he had 109 rushing yards and 88 receiving yards and a rush TD, might not be so easy to contain him

our recievers played awesome as well(especially brown)

I'll take the under. lol

thats probably smart lol

I wouldn't want to be the squealers coming to Bmore after today.

The steelers will be ready too.....this week we made alot of mistakes and almost lost a 24 point lead so we will want to prove we can play better as well

I'm cautiously optimistic that we can beat the Steelers on Thursday, especially after they nearly blew it against the Browns on their home turf. As long as we can get the batted balls under control and bounce back like we have in the past after a loss we can do this.

Good that kick was so dirty. It didn't start intentional but he clearly followed through and lead his foot down.
