Pernell McPhee had some decent pressure at times but the pass rush just wasn't there. CJ Mosley and Matt Elam looked really nice out there. Jackson was alright. Chykie Brown is not a starting caliber corner but he did look alright out there.

What a joke. Flacco had some very questionable plays, but was on point for most of the game. And I'm sorry, Steve Smiths big play doesn't make up for his horrid first half.

Not salvaging points to end the half was by far the biggest mistake you will see from a 120 million dollar guy all season. Are you kidding me?

Flacco was on point for most of the game and for most of the game we were down 15-0?

did you not see him hit the WRs in the hands on most of his throws only to see them watch. Man it seems like some didn't watch the game or are ignoring facts.

Agreed. Aiken looked at lot better at WR. Jacoby didn't look real good on kicks either. Sucks. Flacco's footwork was terrible from the start of the game. He needs to put in some more work... Too bad we have a short week.

Forsett looked great though. He should be the starter against pitt.

If we're treating all players fair.... Aiken shouldn't have even been on the field once he had that stupid penalty in the first half.  But nope, Harbaugh pikcing favorites.

And Aiken's catches were nothing special.  He ran up the sideline and stopped.  Bengals didn't really worry about him,  they were smart and kept receivers in front of them.  Something the Ravens corners you think would be smart enough to do once they finally got the lead.

That was horrible and his late throw that caused an interception. But lets be real, his throws were on point the majority of the game. He had no help.

Why?

Cause apparently it's bad to hold a team to fgs in the first half, when you're offense doesn't produce, and 1 td in the 2nd, with a 3rd/4th string corner on the other teams best wr.  Yet, it will still be the defenses and Pees fault.  It's a league created for you to have success if you pass yet we manage 16 damn points.  People will ignore the end of the first half, what happened IMMEDIATLEY after a blocked kick (cause those are easy) and point to the FGs allowed, the TD and Pierce's fumble.... Which by the way the defense only allowed 3.

Anyone want to explain where this "amazing" front-7 is that everyone likes to keep talking about? The Ravens pass rush was just as bad as it was during the second-half of last year.

difference is dalton was smart enough to get the ball out quickly.  flacco would sit back there for hours and just hope he got sacked.  thats why pass rush didnt get to dalton.  their OC realized their strengths and played to it.  why would you put the ball in flacco's hands when you can run the ball, i have no clue.  especailly if he's not going to do anything until 2nd half anyway.  just run the entire first half.

Oh lawd. First real game in a new offense is bound to have growing pains. They just need to learn to start faster. Maybe trade for a WR.....

How bout we blame the entire TEAM. We were outplayed in every facet of the game and was still somehow in the position to win.

On to worrying about Kung-fu master, Antonio Brown and sideline Tomlin.

What was the reason that we kept Chykie Brown. He was never good. NEVER, He was always the worst CB on our roster. There is no way possible, he deserves a start after that preseason

To be honest every second that passes i see how well we played and how better the play calling was than i thought during the game. Pees had to be hyper aggressive during that drive because the bengals would have taken advantage of the Ravens conservative defense and marched down the field for a FG and ran down all the time. His had was forced by us not getting the two point conversion. I like the aggressiveness just not Chykie on Green.

I think that's everyones problem.  If you're going to run that, be damned sure that Jimmy is on AJ.

Dude, he blew one coverage against arguably the best WR in the game right now. Perspective...

Man you have taken over for Hardbaugh as the ultimate Flacco hater .

Yes it was a terrible decision at the end of the half but Joe put us in a position to win in the 4th quarter with what 5 minutes or so to play .

After playing a poor first half , with many dropped balls he got us the lead only to have our defense lose it again . Chykie is not a starter in this league

One minor positive: Forsett is the real deal. Good riddance to Pierce.

We need to get rid of Webb. His injuries constantly hurt us.

Tough slate to break in a new offense, we definitely looked like the worst team in the division today. Could reasonably see an 0-3 start.

-Way too many drops. They better break a couple jugs machines before the week is over.

-No pass rush whatsoever

-Jimmy Smith, Elam, and maybe Mosely were some of the few on defense that I liked

-Started off far too slow for way too much of the game. Flacco needs to settle in much earlier than this.

-Run game was good

-Need to create turnovers, I attribute some of this to there being no pass rush.

-Webb needs to stop being made of glass

I do not know what to say after the progress in presean. Pierce is no more than a 3rd down back. I wanted to see the big rookie talafarro (sorry if I mis spelled). Fossett is now the #1 while Ray is out, them #2 with the rookie, cut, trade Pierce. Please give the recivers stickem.

I agree, the entire team played bad. Hopefully we improve. This team has potential to go far if they turn it around.

I agree, hate to say it but Suggs pass rush has been M.I.A and Doom hasn't been much better. The interior push has been solid but the guys on the edges just can't win the 1 on 1's and that's roasting our secondary who have to just chase guys around all game.

I miss Pagano and Rex, where's the heat Pees? Your defensive philosophy is a detriment to the talent we have on that side of the ball

On the contrary, who would have thought Justin Forsett would be leading the team in rushing? Forsett had an amazing performance in his first outing as a Raven.

Someone who thought Pierce wouldn't make it past the first half, due to injury.

Flacco screwed up majorly at the end of the first half. That was the difference between a loss and at least overtime. Can anyone really disagree with that? Tired of defending this guy.

At least he played better in the second half, but you shouldn't have to "hope" that your 120M QB plays well, it should be expected.

I think CB would be first on our list for a trade. We could use another good wr but we absolutely NEED another reliable corner or we're toast this year, straight up

Jacoby is on the field way too much on offense, replace him with Aiken and Marlon and just let him return

Here are my vents:

Suggs and Dumervil were terrible today. We didn't sack Dalton once, and I think we only even hit him once. Pathetic.

Torrey, Jacoby, and Steve need to step up, get open, and catch a damn ball. Damn they were brutal.

Pees does need to keep Jimmy on the number one. That's a miscue.
