Week 1 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Steve lost the game. Dropped 4 first downs. One good touchdown doesn't excuse that. Torrey was STANDING STILL on the second from last play. Chykie got killed by AJ green while Jimmy was covering a third string [profanity deleted]ing receiver. Our receivers had NO HANDS in the first half. We have that away. Flacco played his butt off too. I can already hear the pundits calling him out about that half time brain fart and pick. We sucked!

If we can get over the slow starts and the offense can perform the way it did in the second half we can still be a successful team.

Still on the defense. no excuse for a bomb to win it. We stopped them on just 2-3 drives the whole day. what happens when the bend but dont break defense finally cracks? its just a terrible way to play defense. it is not the raven way to play soft defense. the defenses of old are laughing at how easy we make it look for opposing QBs. dalton looked completely comfortable on the road. our offense will turn a corner eventually but the D will cost us too many times this year. no question.

Most annoying thing is that all the issues from last year haven't changed. Terrible first half offense, no run game, WR's still suck, OL blows it when it counts, defense doesn't break the entire game until the very end and we somehow let AJ Green get another huge TD. Unbelievable

Too many mistakes at the wrong time. Dropped passes, bad throws, falling down, allowing them to convert too many third downs, big plays, etc. It's always some big mistake at the wrong time.

From now on no more Jimmy at LCB and Webb At RCB. Jimmy has to shadow Aj greens and Brandon Marshalls of the world and Webb on guys like A Brown and Welker.

Too many drops.by the WRs

Too many misreads by the WRs

Too many slips & trips by the WRs

Too many bad/wrong/misplayed routes by the WRs

Especially on 3rd down, and even worse on potential TD throws.

Joe shoulda/woulda/coulda had 3 more TDs.

Torrey is NOT a #1 WR, and it's doubtful he ever will be.

Ozzie NEEDS to draft our #1 WR next year.

Because Steve Smith, at 35 years old (who had a horrible first half) IS our #1 WR.

Steve Smith did not have a horrible first half; he had a bad game overall.

Joe flacco threw the ball 62 times, I am disappointed in Kubiak for the first game of the season. We averaged 4.7 a carry on 19 carries for the game.

We were playing from behind pretty much all game so you are have a heavy passing attack.

That's just nuts. Jeez. New OC, new schemes, but nothing has changed.

We did good on the ground. We just stopped running, I think OC's think that Joe flacco is like a drew brees, peyton manning, or a Tom brady, and just let him chuck it. More balance and we win this game.

Honestly Kubiak called a good game; the players didn't execute.

O still shows up late, and oline still gives up the sacks that are killer, in crucial moments. And the D, well, they just play well enough so people apologize for them and when the O takes the lead they quit and yell 'screw this im out'.

I completely agree. The only good thing is that since it's last year all over again they might just have an inexplicable win in them on Thursday.

I think we were only down 2 scores with an entire half to play by the time Flacco threw 40+ times. Not good.

Threw the ball way to much, we were running good but not enough. WRs played a poor game, to many dropped passes. Same issues as a year ago, except the OL played better until the end. Defense played a good game....until we put probably our worse corner on their best player. Good idea. Lots of issues.

We were playing from behind by two scores most of the game.We had to throw the ball that much.

We weren't getting blown out. We could have ran the ball plenty. Especially in the first half. We threw the ball way to much. Especially since we were running the ball good. Pierce may have lost his job though.

Our Defense is fine.  We need Webb back.  Why Chykie Brown, the worst corner on our roster, was covering AJ Green makes no sense.

its delusional to think webb is going to save the defense. their is a bigger problem here. Chykie Brown sucks but as long as we play soft, we're not going to play well, period. webb or not. so what we almost won the game... if the bengals scored on all those drives, are we still fine? the low amount of points makes it look fine but will players like Brady, Manning, or even Ben settle for 5 FG's? no we would get routed if we werent playing Andy Dalton.

Once they fell behind by more than two scores what were they supposed to do exactly? If they had run the clock down by sticking to the ground game everyone would wonder where the sense of urgency was and why are they paying the qb so much just to hand the ball off.
