He's become one of my favorite guys on the DL. Really underrated and reminds me a lot of Arthur Jones. I hope we can re-sign that guy. We seem to be really adept at drafting DL late. Jones, McPhee, Tyson. We've hit pretty well on those guys for 5th round and 7th round picks.

No, he didn't, and it's less on Joe than Smith for sure. Still, he had to adjust somewhat on the ball but he's a veteran WR and he knows what to do. It's definitely on him. 

 

Passing game looked okay, but I don't like what I'm seeing from the running game so far. Kinda reminds me of preseason actually.

Absolutely. He looked slow in the last preseason game and he still looks slow. That exposiveness is gone.
