Yeah and the truth is, we hear that excuse every year for Pees. "It's the players not the coach!" Maybe it is to an extent, but there comes a time where you need to say "Enough is enough" and cut bait with a coach who doesn't seem to get the most out of his players, since that is, you know, the job of a coach. So far, from what I've seen, he isn't the right coach for us. I hope he proves me wrong this year.

Let's not pretend like he had to make a crazy athletic play to get that. Both his hands were on that ball. It was a good tackle, but still.

No, he didn't, and it's less on Joe than Smith for sure. Still, he had to adjust somewhat on the ball but he's a veteran WR and he knows what to do. It's definitely on him.

We could have done something this past off-season, such as hire Ray Horton as the DC, of whom I wanted here. But, oh well.
