How much would a Super Bowl mean to you?

The main catalyst for our playoff success in 2012 was Cam Cameron FINALLY getting fired (even Cam said as much) and nothing will ever be sweeter than that. :D Seeing a new playbook in action during regular season will be sweeeet!

It's a bit depressing, but I'm not even thinking like this, and frankly wasn't before yesterday and today.

While I am proud of our recent playoff runs and most importantly, relish the two Lombardis mightily won by this franchise, the harsh reality is (whether we want to admit it or not) we are rebuilding/retooling/reloading (whatever you want to call it) these next three years to put a competitive team on the field for a future run, but we're further away than most think.

It was Oz's idea not to sit pat on the roster/coaching etc. after we won the SB in 2012 since that strategy didn't bode well in 2001, and to his credit he has turned the roster and staff over, even if it has been a bit rocky thus far.

For me, the inconsistency we've seen the last 17 games won't change until Oz and company hit on a couple of playmakers - game changers, that is, not above average ball players in the draft, and MOST IMPORTANTLY we find team leaders who lead with heart and soul like 52 and 20 used to emerge as a commanding, unifiying voice that vests their teamates in doing their jobs to the best of their ability FOR one another.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for them to win another Superbowl in the next few years, and while I will root them on, I just don't see it happening. Hope they prove me wrong!

honestly, after going to a couple of the games in the 2012 season AND the playoff game against the colts, feeling the energy in the crowd, seeing rays last dance at home.. watching the biggest nailbiter of all time against one of the best qb's of all time in denver, going into new england again and punching them in the mouth the whole game.. then the superbowl... I don't think there will ever be a season that matches that energy. I am glad that I witnessed it and if we lose every season for now on, That season is all I need to think about
