I hope no one rates this team so that we stop having all these threads and people just feel confident enough in their own work

I asked for opinions. That is all. Is it really erking you to the point of madness that someone posted something on an internet message board? I hate when people always list a million players names on our roster but I don't bring negativity towards them

I'll be kind and rewind.  It helps if we know how many players in your league and the type (standard or ppr).  My estimation would say 10 or 8 team based on the picks.

RB is really thin.  If you draft one of the top QBs you really don't need a backup (If it is a 2 QB league or Superflex then disregard).  I know I told you ASJ is a sleeper but didn't look like you needed deep sleepers.  2 TE's is more than sufficient.  Would have added some more bodies at RB.

Thanks, I can make those changes. There are still a lot of RBs available in the pool

8 team league

I would drop the backup Defense and ASJ for some more RB depth.  Do you know who went undrafted @ RB?

A lot of new players think they need backups at every position.  But Defense isn't necessary unless you are holding a top D through a bye week.

Mark Ingram

Knowshon Moreno

Dexter McCluster

Donald Brown

Steven Ridley

Chris Ivory

Run DMC

Bernard Pierce

Those are the notable players available

I would nab Moreno since you have Miller.  If one of those guys corners the market due to performance or injury you'll be covered.

But there are a lot of nice names there that will give more contributions than ASJ, Backup D, and even Philip Rivers.  Pierce at a minimum is a two game starter.  Ingram has been strong in PS and is valuable in a standard leagues.  Ridley is getting a lot of hate, but he could still produce a lot of TDs.   It's a personal preference but I would look at those guys in particular.

Agreed with Pu on this, some positions you can get away with filling through the waiver wire if you need a spot start. RB is one of those positions that gets ugly quick on the other hand with injuries and overall scarcity at the position.

What other defences are there? I've been stung too many times by the Ravens defence (it's kinda like Joe Flacco imo - great player but not that flash in fantasy). I agree with PuRock about RBs too, Ridley, Moreno, McFadden and Pierce would all be decent roster additions. Are there any other RBs left who are number two on their side's depth chart?

I think you did quite well.  I have no idea who your third TE is, and IND D is going to be terrible.  Other than that you have a fighters chance to go all the way because you're built like the Ravens 4 studs and then a bunch of solid above average players.  Excuse me 5 studs, Ravens D of course.

It's just the fact that we have a "Fantasy Football" thread and I think it's dumb to have every single person post a thread asking people to rate their team.

Plus, it's your team. Do you really need people to rate your team?

Isn't this the purpose of having a whole forum for Fantasy Football?

It doesn't seem silly to you to have 20 rate my team threads that die in a day instead of putting them in an actively used fantasy football thread instead?

No more "silly" than fantasy football as a whole. Why have a forum if it's just a couple of threads?

I view it similar to the Ravens talk thread where we don't put up a thread for each player we want to sign, but rather a big free agency thread, a trade thread, a cut thread, etc.

Plus, there are multiple threads about start/sit, advertising for leagues, our fantasy off season games, etc.

I just view it as silly personally
