He sure didn't show anything on the team this year. Not the mention we have several Baltimore area players (Torrey, Campanero, maybe some more). No that your proposed rule makes any sense.

Never argued that he didn't get beat-out fairly this preseason. Just wanted to show respect for what he has done for us and give a little support for what he still may have the potential to do in his life in the future. Many times (not singling out you personally so don't get it twisted) some fans see reasons to totally trash-talk and degrade players for no real reason. Laquan may not ever be a pro-bowler or hall of fame caliber player, but neither will the vast majority of people who find it in their hearts to trash him. Just wish him the best in whatever he pursues and do the same for the rest.

 

As far as 'native' Baltimore Raven players of the roster goes...there are no Baltimore players currently (Torrey - VA, Campanero - Silver Springs, MD). It's not critical, but many Superbowl Championship teams throughout history have a had at least 1 hometown player on the roster including us. Inspiring. It's just a mojo kind of thing. It doesn't have to make sense.
