I think Brady is pretty much always a dolphin killer. He owns the dolphins and I would put money their offense is running full speed week one over the dolphins D and the lions O for that matter.

I think stafford will put up good numbers as well so it's a good problem to have.

Brady is actually very mediocre in his career against the Dolphins....

Need a WR/RB for my flex. I have Crabtree(vs DAL), Torrey(vs CIN), TY Hilton(vs DEN) and Spiller(vs CHI).

I was leaning toward Crabtree as he's the clear no. 1 and is playing a terrible cowboys defense, but their offense hasn't clicked at all. I also think Hilton could have a big game against the Broncos if it goes to a shootout. What do you think?

PPR league btw

I like Crabtree in a PPR.

I have a trade on the table Joique Bell/Terrance Willams for Keenan Allen. Should I try to get More? Fair?

Also another one (I proposed) Jeremy Maclin/Shonn Greene/Lamar Miller for Joe Flacco/Jordan Reed/Rashad Jennings.

I wouldn't do either of those trades as you are giving up the best player in both. I think your team will be fine once you get Rice back, so just stay patient and hope you get through the first two weeks.

I might try to flip one of your bench WRs for an upgrade at RB. Try to get someone like Mark Ingram, Knowshon Moreno, or Fred Jackson that has starter upside.

I would also start Jordan Reed over Zach Ertz.

Ertz is going against Jacksonville this week though. I was thinking about Taking Evans out of the flex and starting Ertz and Reed. I'm conflicted there

Start AJ Green or Julian Edelman? I'm thinking Edelman as Green hasn't had a monster game against us yet and Edelman has stepped up big time!! Plus he's playing MIA

If its ppr I would start ertz and reed. I wouldn't do either trade.

I just feel Edelman is going to have a big day. Feel it in my bones

Brady historically struggled against the Dolphins. AJ Green doesn't do well against Jimmy, but he does well enough against the Ravens secondary

I think Ertz in the flex makes the best sense for you.  I'd like to see Evans during the regular season first.

Like others said,  start your studs.  Don't get cute, or you'll get burned.   A lot of mouths to feed in NE right now.  Edelman could easily go for a 4-40 line.  The floor and ceiling are lower with Edelman.

I thought about that as well. I think I would be more comfortable with either TE than Evans. Evans probably has more upside, but he is also far more likely to flop.

A major downgrade at RB for an upgrade at WR.  Watkins doesn't add much value.  Considering your RBs, I wouldn't do that trade.

Don't know why people are so eager to trade before a game is even played.  You could have drafted Calvin in the 1st round instead of McCoy if you really wanted him and I'm sure you could have landed Moreno & Watkins.

Moreno could potentially be a solid RB2, but I'm still not doing that deal. Keenan Allen is a really good WR and McCoy is the #1 player in fantasy. Watkins could be a complete bust.

Tony Romo vs. the 49ers or Matt Ryan vs. the Saints?

Agreed with Pu on the last point, I would keep the stud RB

Romo, that game has all the makings of a shootout.

Both are good options. I'd go Matt Ryan. Playing against a slightly better D matchup, with a lesser run game, against an uptempo passing team.

Waiver-related question, who would you guys prefer between Darren McFadden and Legarrette Blount? In a vacuum I'd go Blount (re-jigged OL, possible RZ guy, constant presence of carries) but I currently have MJD on my roster so I'd essentially be handcuffing him with Run DMC.

I'd stick with McFadden as the handcuff, especially if it's a ppr. If the Raiders can use him in space for once, he could prove to have some value. Plus the Raiders should rely on the run game more with a rookie QB.

Not PPR, but I appreciate the thoughts. I just saw them both floating on the wire and saw the chance to upgrade my RB5 so hopefully I won't have to use him anyway.

1-1 split doesn't help much lol but I guess I will roll Romo as San Francisco is missing a large part of their defense and I think Romo will have time in the pocket to do some damage at home

I'd back Romo in your spot, so that makes it 2-1. :P

Both are quality options, but I have more faith in Romo's line and I suspect Julio might take a couple of weeks to get back to his explosive best.

Generally play your studs but if you have a strong gut feeling, don't ignore that either
