What a great way to end another college semester. That was the craziest 4 minutes I've seen. McGahee and ... McClain?! Are you serious?!

I still think McGahee is not 100% healthy, which is partly why he has been struggling. He still has great potential. Next season I expect him (with the help of our O-line) to have a breakout year.

I think there is a shift now in how we play the 4th quarter. Our defense cannot stop teams with good hurry up offenses. It is up to our offense to continue to score points and eat away the clock.

Making the playoffs would be awesome. The more I see this team play, the more excited I get for next season. Think about it. We still have problems with our offense. But, another year with Cameron's offense, Flacco gets better, our O-line gets better, McGahee gets better... I'm drooling.

I just quoted this to mention that I hope and believe you could be right about Willis McGahee...His contract status has him signed with us until 2014 as follows:

Mar 9, 2007: Re-signed by the Baltimore Ravens to a seven-year contract extension.
Mar 8, 2007: Acquired from the Buffalo Bills.
Mar 8, 2007: Buffalo Bills traded Willis McGahee to the Baltimore Ravens for a 3rd-round and 7th-round draft pick in 2007 and a 3rd-round pick in 2008.

So lets wish him and the Ravens the best
And you are talking about our Offense, we have so much depth at every position.
I would like to see more depth at WR and OT and hopefully Neal will stay with us or we pick up another FB, so McClain can continue to rush for us. This might prove to be the most important off-season in our history. I think we can make better moves in free agency because not only are we playing well and showing we have a great team, but the veterans who came aboard like Lorenzo Neal and Willie Anderson really like it here and will tell other player that comming here was one of the BEST decisions they have ever made. We have a great front office, facility, coaching staff, and finally an offense. I think a lot of WRs might want to come aboard with the "New" Ravens and set frachise records in receiving.

The draft will be very exciting to watch. We could use CBs, WRs, OTs, DEs, and maybe a TE (Depending on who leaves). We could luck out and a super athlete could fall to us in the first round. There are all kinds of controversies about players weeks before the draft and there are a few who are unfortunately deemed as "busts" or under achievers. Brian Brohm went late in the 2nd round and Tavares Gooden fell to us in the 3rd (one mock draft has DE Tyson Jackson, LSU falling to us in the 2nd). We could very likely trade down to get more picks or trade up to get Malcolm Jenkins (keep him out of the Brown's hands), Vontae Davis, Jeremy Maclin, or Darrius Heyward-Bey. I wouldn't mind trading up this time in order to give Flacco a deep threat or our defense a future star at CB. We did get 10 draft picks last year to provide the depth we need. I like Vontae and DHB. We could trade up to get Jenkins or Davis and then see which WR falls to us at our spot in the 1st round. I think you get much more out of a 1st round CB and you could still get a good WR after the the 1st round or even the 2nd. Most CBs after the 2nd round just don't have the speed or athleticism you need in a starting CB or 2nd stringer. There are always flukes like Marques Colston and Cortland Finnegan who were both taken in the 7th round.
