Running Cut Thread (Ravens)

I hated him when I went to TC at the Castle, but it does look like he turned it around in games.

Yeah, when I went he seemed lazy, but I think he just needed to get in better shape.

i think we can keep extra WR and sacrifice 1 of the safeties, someone like "cant recognize my teammate" Tarwick can be cut and resign later , no one will pick him up.

He's been much better since then and pretty good on special teams. It's a shame people still use that against him.

Toussaint needs to be suited up game 1

welll thats not going to happen cause he just got cut but mostly likely will make it to our practice squad unless The Ravens find someone else better.

Not surprised about Shipley but think Jensen and Wenning are definitely practice squad candidates

Doubt Jensen clears waivers.  Bet he is picked up

Shipley is surprising

Not really. He was awful. I gotta say, I called that one. Still not sure about Hurst but Shipley needed to go. I can rest peacefully now.

I may not have called it, but I was definitely rooting for it.

Today is a rough day for the bubble guys, but tomorrow and the days to come can be even worse for the bubble guys that think they made it. That's definitely more brutal when they are cut at a later point.

Hurst has shown recently that he's improving. I think he deserves a spot on the team. Urschel too.

No way urschel is cut as a 5th round pick at a position of need. He would be claimed on waivers instantly IMO.

I still think Shipley could return, though. I think he could be like our Billy Bajema. That guy you have on speed dial because you know he isn't likely to get picked up anywhere

Lots of interest in him across the league, apparently.

11 more moves to go, 3 of which will be Ray Rice and Will Hill to the suspended list and Cody to the PUP.  8 more cuts.

This is definitely interesting. It could be more cut, if we trade for a player or do a swap. Unless we can get a pick for them.

I had Orr as a deep sleeper possibility.

Aaron Wilson@RavensInsider

Ravens have been very impressed by rookie linebacker Zach Orr's special-teams ability. Roster decision still pending

Yeah he was one I thought could surprise and sneak his way onto the roster and be this year's Trawick. Maybe we're trying to trade a LB.
