What was up with Steve?  Ive come to expect Torrey dropping a pass that hits both of his hands as well as Jacoby, but not Steve Smith.

 

I was surprised by Smith, Sr. drops as well.  He's normally a lot more sure handed than what we saw today.

Who played well? Serious question...curious who you think played well.

I think Elam, Mosley, Williams, Yanda, Zuttah, Forsett, KO, Wagner, Pitta, Daryl Smith, Daniels played well. Flacco, Wagner, Monroe, Stewart, Chykie, Smith Sr played a mixed game. Everyone else was either invisible or bad. Jacoby Jones was especially poor. I'm probably forgetting some guys but those are the ones who stand out to me.

We should do it every season. Similar to 1-day player retirement contracts, we should be able to hire and subsequently fire Cam each year. In exchange, whenever we win the SB he gets a ring. Seems fair and rational to me.

I'm not sure it says anything really. Could have promoted him for a few reasons. Maybe we're worried someone wants to sign him after all Rice, Dwyer and Peterson. Could be worried about Pierce. Might not be any indication of Taliaferro.

If I had to guess I would say they are worried about Pierce. I think he was on the injury report this week. If he can't go or is limited, we would need another back. I really like Toussaint. I hope he gets an opportunity.
